00:10Well, it is Military Monday. We have Maria with us this morning. Good morning, Maria. How are you?
00:15Good morning. How are you guys?
00:16We're doing great. So who are we honoring today for Military Monday?
00:20His name is Cameron.
00:22Okay.
00:23He was a Marine or is a Marine. You know what they say.
00:26Once a Marine, always a Marine.
00:30Yep.
00:31And so he served from 2009 to 2013?
00:34He did. He actually did two tours in Afghanistan as well.
00:38Oh, wow. And was this before you guys met?
00:40Yeah, it was before.
00:41Okay, gotcha.
00:42I only knew him after.
00:44And what was his job in the military?
00:46So he did logistics, which he was in charge of 40 to 50 other Marines and he helped transport and basically was in charge of these men,
00:56moving them from one location to another safely with all their cargo, ammo, anything that they may need to transport.

01:03Obviously, very important job in the Marines for sure.
01:06Now you, again, we said this was before you guys were together and all that.
01:10And we didn't mention, this is actually Maria's fiance.
01:14Yes, her fiance, yeah.
01:16You said he was a Marine and all that and we didn't even mention that he's your fiance.
01:19So we got to get that in there.
01:20He's pretty great, yeah.
01:22When's the wedding?
01:23We haven't set a date yet.
01:25Okay.
01:26Don't worry.
01:26Both of us two are engaged.

01:30Yeah, that happened.
01:31Let me ask you a question.
01:33Knowing Cameron now, what do you think it was that called him to serve?
01:38He has such a strong loyalty and duty to his country and just any relationship he has.
01:45He's so helpful.
01:47You know, he just jumps to say, you know, what do you need?

01:50And he's just such a good, genuine, kind person.
01:52That's probably what a lot would have attracted you to him in the first place.
01:56Yes.
01:56What are some things you guys like to do?
01:58We are outdoor people.
02:00He's a camper.
02:01We love to go, you know, camp in the tent and go hiking.
02:05I got to be honest with you.
02:06Every time we do Military Monday and we talk to somebody who is recognizing a Marine, they're always like, we're outdoor people.
02:12Yep.
02:12Yeah, I don't think you have a choice when it comes to that if you are engaged to a Marine.
02:17You have to enjoy it or else.
02:18Yeah, exactly.
