00:00This attack was calculated and brutal. It was not a robbery that went wrong.
00:05It was planned and Armand was their sole target.
00:08Following an incident the previous day that involved Armand,
00:12the group used a contact to access inside information from his employer
00:16to learn Armand's delivery routes before laying in wait for him on a quiet Shropshire street.
00:23The group used an arsenal of weapons against Armand, who was defenceless.
00:27There is no doubt in my mind what their intention was, and that was to kill him.
00:33Almost a year ago to the day, five men were sentenced to a combined total of 122 years
00:40for their part in Armand Singh's death.
00:44Today, I am pleased the further two men have been given a 28-year prison sentence each
00:50for their role in his senseless killing.
00:53This investigation has been complex, saw us work closely with police forces
01:00across the country and abroad.
01:02I would like to thank my team and everyone involved for their hard work in getting us to this point.
01:08Last year, my colleagues stood here and said,
01:10these sentences should send a strong message to those who think they can come into our towns and cities
01:16to commit violent crime, and that we will not stop in our efforts to find them and put them before the courts.
01:24That statement still stands today, as two further men have been jailed for their role in Armand's death.
01:30I hope Armand's family can take reassurance from today's sentencing,
01:35knowing that the men responsible for his death have been put behind bars.
