00:13What's going to be happening? Well we're going to be doing a flash mob in Telford Shopping Centre
00:19which is supposed to be a surprise. Yeah well yeah that's why we'll just say it nice and quiet here.
00:24Yeah yeah yeah. But all the singers come out from wherever they're kind of hiding around
00:29outside the shops and down the corridors and they start the song and then they come out
00:33singing Mountain by Sam Raider. Awesome and this is all raising money Parkinson's. Raising money,
00:38raising awareness, Parkinson's. It's normally just an old man's disease. Yeah yeah because people tend
00:44to think that don't they? Yeah and they think it's all about the tremor. I don't have the tremor.
00:48Yeah so how old were you when you first started getting symptoms? I was 38 when I first
00:54started getting symptoms. And what were the first symptoms that you had then? My leg drag when
00:58I ran. Yeah. I ran for more than 20 minutes. I knew I could run longer. Yeah. But I could drag mine.
01:02Oh interesting okay. And then from that point to getting diagnosed how long was that? Seven years.
01:08Seven years? Wow okay so now it's a diet of pills and... It is and I've had deep brain stimulation as well.
01:16Yeah. Which is really terrible. Oh wow okay. So what's what's what is deep brain stimulation?
01:22They put two rods in the centre of your brain and then like a pacemaker in your heart. Yeah.
01:28And it listens to your brain waves and it gives you stimulation. And that's just helped you in
01:33what way has that helped? It has helped you tremendously. Yeah.
01:37With pain and stiffness, with slowness and movement, with walking. Yeah.
01:41I can guarantee you this time I'll still open to being stuck here. No way. Well well done you.
