01:46Watt van Aert driving things on, on the first of five gravel sectors.
01:50Caden Groves still at the front of the group that started to disintegrate off the front of the race,
01:55losing Luc Lamperty and straightaway Diego Ulysses in the Mallorosa on the back foot and conceding time.
02:01It was Konten Hermanns and Caden Groves who went off the front and then Lucas Hamilton crashing

03:37and Isaac del Toro really tried at this point to distance Wout van Aert.
03:42And into Siena eventually and on to the famous Santa Catarina climb.
03:55The steep slopes which of course Wout van Aert knows so well having raced to victory
03:59in Stradibianchi here five years ago in the COVID pandemic of 2020.
