00:30Can I get some MJ Morning Show voiceovers and the Kool-Aid voice, man?
00:35Welcome to the MJ Morning Show.
00:37Oh, yeah.
00:39I'm the Kool-Aid man.
00:41My friend Orange Kool-Aid is with me.
00:43Hi, Orange.
00:44Hey, what's up?
00:45You don't sound anything like Kool-Aid, you stupid fat.
00:48That sounds like Shaq.
00:50It sounds like...
00:52This is a little-known fact.
00:53Orange Kool-Aid is Shaq's favorite.
00:55All right, I found an old Kool-Aid commercial,
00:58and Kool-Aid busts through a brick wall.
01:00See?
01:00I told you.
01:01He busts through walls and fences.
01:03That's right.
01:04I told you.
01:05Does he ever bust through bank vaults?
01:07I'll bust through with my cousin.
01:10You got a resin for that.
01:11That's purple.
01:12Is that hurting your voice?
01:13No.
01:14Yeah, it kills, actually.
01:16But if you want me to do the rest of the show, we'll like it.
01:18I mean, anything for a listener.
01:20There we go, Orange.
01:22I'm back.
01:22All right, Froggy stops.
01:23Okay, sorry.
01:24Here's the deal.
01:25Uh-huh.
01:26Now there's the latest idiots on TikTok,
01:29and it's the Kool-Aid man challenge,
01:31and people are busting through fences.
01:34Oh, I got to see some of this.
01:35I mean, how many of them hit the fence and then bounce backwards?
01:39That's what I want to see.
01:41There are people in westerly Staten Island,
01:44which is where, what's his face is from?
01:46You know, the Saturday Night Live guy.
01:48Pete Davidson?
01:48Yeah, Pete Davidson from Staten Island.
01:51So here's the story of people on Staten Island.
01:54They say they're being terrorized by imitators of the Kool-Aid mascot.
01:59They fell victim to the prank earlier in November.
02:02Somebody smashed through their fence.
02:06And people are smashing through fences,
02:09and emerging on the other side saying,
02:12Oh, yeah.
02:14Can I get an oh, yeah?
02:15Oh, yeah.
02:17Ha, ha.
02:18Hey, Kool-Aid!
02:20Oh, yeah.
02:21Yeah, here we go.
02:24Oh, my.
02:24I have some home surveillance footage.
02:26Some fester's looking at.
02:28All right, fester's looking at.
02:29This is the guy's backyard.
02:30His home surveillance footage.
02:31Look at the fence right over here.
02:33It's a white fence, a stockade fence.
02:35Busting through.
02:36And then suddenly.
02:38Oh, yeah.
02:39And then run away.
02:40Run back to the car.
02:41Oh, my God.
02:42Oh, it's random people's fences?
02:44Yes.
02:45People are just going up to random fences and smashing through people's fences.
02:50Oh, no.
02:52No.
02:52Not cool.
02:53Just with their body.
02:55It's vandalism.
02:57This is the structure of private property and vandalism.
03:00This is criminal mischief.
03:02Give me a criminal mischief.
03:03That's criminal mischief.
03:05Might be a felony.
03:06Oh, yeah.
03:07Yeah.
03:08Maybe even a misdemeanor.
03:10Okay, so here a guy does his own video.
03:13He busts through, like, a ripped screen in a Florida room.
03:16And then he stands up and yells, oh, yeah.
03:20Screens are nothing.
03:21Can I play the audio?
03:22It could be an F-bomb in there as well.
03:24It could be.
03:24I mean, we're not going to work here forever.
03:26There are copycats now all over the place.
03:29And like I said, social media sucks on many fronts.
03:31And TikTok is the worst.
03:33You have all these people trying to become TikTok famous.
03:36They're hurting themselves.
03:37They're maiming themselves.
03:38People are doing stupid things.
03:40People are even dying trying to become TikTok famous.
03:43And now the latest is the Kool-Aid Man Challenge.
03:47And people are smashing through other people's fences.
03:49Strangers.
03:50I mean, look at the images online.
03:53Look.
03:53Here's.
03:54Right here.
03:55Click on that one right there.
03:57Number two?
03:57Yeah.
03:58Bring that up.
03:58This is a TV report challenge is causing issues for homeowners nationwide.
04:02Go back.
04:03Here we go.
04:03It's a long intro.
04:04Hold on.
04:05Just go.
04:05Go back.
04:06A TikTok challenge is causing issues for homeowners nationwide.
04:10And now it's made it here to Idaho.
04:13Our Brenda Rodriguez spoke to a Caldwell man about how it has impacted him.
04:17So, Brenda, what is this new challenge?
04:19Yeah.
04:20So, I spoke to a Caldwell homeowner, Richard Phillips.
04:22And he says this new TikTok challenge called the Kool-Aid Man is a trend where kids crash through
04:28fences, mimicking the Kool-Aid commercials from previous years.
04:32And it happened to him and a couple of his neighbors.
04:35What in the world goes through these kids as minds to go drive around late at night and
04:41just have the thought process of, oh, I'm going to go destroy somebody's fence and we're
04:47going to do it right here and then just carry on from there.
04:50That was Caldwell resident Richard Phillips' response after he received a call from Caldwell
04:55police saying his fence was damaged.
04:57To blame, a new TikTok challenge called Kool-Aid Man where kids crash through fences and it's
05:02causing issues in Caldwell neighborhoods.
05:04It's a group of high school-age kids and they're driving around to neighborhoods with vinyl fencing
05:11and they literally get out of the car long enough to go plow through somebody's fence while somebody's
05:18recording and then they jump in the car and they turn around and leave.
05:22It didn't stop there.
05:23Phillips says the incident happened again a couple weeks later, causing thousands of dollars in damages.
05:28But why fences?
05:30If you see, go back to like the 90s, the Kool-Aid Man, how he was breaking through the wall
05:36and how his picture, you can see the broken wall with it.
05:41Phillips says other neighborhoods in the area were also targeted.
05:45The house was actually, I would say, the second one to be hit in our neighborhood and I'd say
05:50probably 10 to 15 have been hit in total.
05:55Phillips says his neighborhood is working with Caldwell police by sending in videos captured
05:59with their home camera systems.
06:00But they're super helpful and they want to help us catch these people and put an end to those.
06:06They're destroyed.
06:07Caldwell police say they are aware of this issue and are working to identify.
06:10I mean, it's crazy, but it's happening all over the country.
06:13This is Idaho.
06:14The funny thing is that guy, Richard Phillips, who was talking throughout the video, he looks
06:18like he could do some damage if he tried to do a Kool-Aid thing himself.
06:21He knocked down a house.
06:22I'd like to make a statement, please.
06:24All right, we have a statement.
06:27We have a statement from the Kool-Aid Man.
06:29Oh, yeah.
06:29I just talked to my Kool-Aid lawyer.
06:33His name is Pink Lemonade.
06:35And he told me that I must say that me, Cherry, Kool-Aid, and Lemon, Kool-Aid.
06:44And my brother, LaMongelo.
06:45Yes.
06:45We do not condone this activity.
06:49And quite frankly, it makes my family look bad.
06:52Oh, yeah.
06:53Oh, yeah.
06:54Oh, yeah.
06:55Every flavor.
06:56Hey, Kool-Aid!
06:57Oh, yeah!
06:59That's my great-great-great-grandfather right there.
07:02Rest in peace, grand girl.
07:04I love you.
07:05It was delicious.
07:06So much sugar.
07:07So, I mean, if you've got a fence, I mean, you could be the next victim of the Kool-Aid
07:11challenge where kids are just driving around and they're bashing through your fence.
07:16I mean, destroyed.
07:17That one guy that we played the audio from the TV report from Idaho, he had like a couple
07:22of hundred feet of backyard fence and like almost all of them were smashed out.
07:25Every other panel was knocked out by these punks.
07:28But like destroyed.
07:29Not like you can put it back into place.
07:30They like broke the material.
07:33I also want to let you know one thing.
07:34Yes.
07:35My uncle Tropical Fruit is a lawyer locally.
07:38If you need Kool-Aid backing, go ahead and reach out to him.
07:42That's Kool-Aid Tropical Fruit Law Firm.
07:44Listen, you're putting on some weight.
07:46You may want to see Aunt Crystal Light.
07:48Mr. Kool-Aid man.
07:50Have you heard about Crystal Light?
07:53Crystal Light.
07:53Crystal Light.
07:58Crystal Lock is a bit of a
08:19advantage.
