(Adnkronos) - "La capacità della rete deve crescere, ma l'infrastruttura ferroviaria non è facilmente replicabile. Pensare di occupare ancora territorio non è sostenibile dal punto di vista né ambientale né economico, quindi la tecnologia ci deve venire incontro. Chiediamo dunque a chi sviluppa queste tecnologie di lavorare per avere un'infrastruttura ferroviaria più affidabile e resiliente, che sia in grado di rispondere sia all'aumento del traffico che alla qualità del servizio”.
Queste le parole di Giorgio Spadi, preside sezione Cifi Milano, intervenuto al Politecnico di Milano all’evento ‘Innovazione e digitalizzazione nelle infrastrutture ferroviarie: digital twin, sostenibilità, manutenzione predittiva e Bim’, organizzato dal Cifi - Collegio ingegneri ferroviari italiani, in collaborazione con il dipartimento di Energia dell’Ateneo e Harpaceas.
