SLBC Tunnel Accident Update : ఎస్‌ఎల్‌బీసీ సొరంగంలో చిక్కుకున్న మిగిలినవారి జాడ కోసం నిత్యాన్వేషణ కొనసాగుతోంది. అత్యంత క్లిష్టతరమైన పరిస్థితుల నడుమ సహాయక బృందాలు సొరంగంలో చిక్కుకున్న వారిని వెలికి తీసేందుకు రేయింబవళ్లూ శ్రమిస్తున్నాయి. దేశంలో సొరంగాల్లో ఎన్నో రకాల ప్రమాదాలు జరిగినా ఈ తరహా ప్రమాదం ఎక్కడా జరగలేదని నిపుణులు చెబుతున్నారు. అన్ని సొరంగాలకు ఆడిట్లు, అవుట్‌లెట్లు సహా వివిధ మార్గాల ద్వారా సొరంగంలోకి గాలి, వెలుతురు, ఆక్సిజన్ అందుతాయి. అలాంటి వాతావరణంలో సహాయక చర్యలు చేపట్టడం కష్టతరమే అయినా ఎస్‌ఎల్‌బీసీ సొరంగంతో పోల్చితే కొంత మేలే.
ఎస్‌ఎల్‌బీసీ సొరంగంలోకి వెళ్లేందుకు ఒక్కటే మార్గం ఉంటుంది. తిరిగి రావాలన్నా అదే మార్గం. వెంటిలేషన్ ట్యూబ్‌తో మాత్రమే ఆక్సిజన్ అందుతుంది. లోపలికి వెళ్లేందుకు లోకో ట్రైన్ ఉన్నా ప్రమాదం జరిగినప్పడు అది 11 కిలోమీటర్ల వద్దే ఆగిపోయింది. రోజుల తరబడి శ్రమించి ప్రస్తుతం 13.5 కిలోమీటర్ల వరకూ లోకో ట్రైన్ అందుబాటులోకి తెచ్చారు. అక్కడి నుంచి దెబ్బతిన్న టన్నెల్ బోరింగ్ మిషన్ వెనక భాగం, దాని శకలాలు దారికి అడ్డంగా నిండిపోయాయి. 15 రోజులు శ్రమించినా ఇప్పటికీ టీబీఎంని పూర్తిగా తొలగించలేకపోయారు. కారణం ఒక్కో భాగం టన్నుల కొద్దీ బరువు ఉంటుంది. వాటిని కత్తిరించి బైటకు పంపాలంటే లోకో ట్రైన్ ఒక్కటే మార్గం.
