00:39a tariff increase of 32% for Indonesia by the United States.
00:47According to KSPI President Syed Iqbal, an increase of 32%
00:51makes Indonesian products more expensive in the US market.
00:55As a result, demand for reduced production and companies are forced to perform efficiencies, including PHK.
01:02Even in some cases, companies choose to close their operations.
01:07The US import tariff policy is also likely to create a number of foreign investors in Hong Kong from Indonesia,
01:13and move their investments to other countries with lower tariffs than the United States.
01:19According to KSPI and the Employment Confederation,
01:23PHK's second wave can reach more than 50,000 jobs
01:31within three months of the tariff.
01:39If I'm not mistaken, the tariff policy will be implemented on April 9.
01:45KSPI notes that the industry sector is most affected by the PHK wave,
