Elon Musk Claims He's Sent Ashley St. Clair $2.5M In Child Support But Isn't Sure He's The Dad

00:00Elon Musk and Ashley St. Clair are both speaking out over his financial support for her infant son, who she claims he fathered.

00:06The two exchanged words on X on Monday, after a video circulated of St. Clair speaking to the Daily Mail as she sold her Tesla.

00:13St. Clair said in the video,

00:14I'm selling it because I need to make up for the 60% cut that Elon made to our son's child support.

00:19When asked if she thought the alleged reduction was vindictive, she replied,

00:23Yeah, it's his modus operandi when women speak out.

00:25In response to a post containing the video shared by right-wing activist Laura Loomer,

00:29Musk addressed the baby's paternity and his financial support, claiming,

00:33I don't know if the child is mine or not, but I am not against finding out. No court order is needed.

00:38Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5 million, and I'm sending her $500,000 a year.

00:45St. Clair replied to Musk's post with claims of her own, writing,

00:49Elon, we asked you to confirm paternity through a test before our child, who you named, was even born.

00:54You refused, and you weren't sending me money.

00:57You were sending support for your child that you thought was necessary,

01:00until you withdrew most of it to maintain control and punish me for disobedience.

01:04But you're really only punishing your son.

01:06It's ironic that your last effort in court was to try to gag me,

01:09while you use a social media channel you literally own

01:11to distribute derogatory messages about me and our child to the entire world.

01:15It's all about control with you, and everyone can see it.

01:18America needs you to grow up, you petulant man-child.

01:21Musk has not yet publicly responded to St. Clair's reply, but has been active on Axe since.

01:26Axis Hollywood has reached out to his reps for comment.

01:28The ex-exchange comes less than two months after St. Clair first announced that she had welcomed a child,

01:33naming Musk as the father.

01:34A week later, she reportedly sued Musk for sole legal custody of the child.

01:38Earlier this month, St. Clair's legal team claimed in a statement to People magazine,

01:42Musk has financially retaliated against his own child,

01:45and reduced his financial support substantially and unilaterally.

01:48He did this after Ashley was forced to bring this matter to court,

01:51when he refused to respond to her many private attempts to resolve this matter without publicity.

01:55The statement continued to allege in part,

01:57at the same time, Musk filed an emergency application to gag Ashley

02:00and prevent her from communicating about his actions.

02:03The judge denied the emergency nature of the application, even though it is still pending.

02:07Ashley is vigorously opposing this application in order to preserve her right to speak out.

02:11Musk did not publicly respond to St. Clair's legal team's claims at the time of their statement.
