00:00First in our news, the help that is being sent to Myanmar is in full swing by the magnitude 7.7 earthquake this Friday.
00:11The Philippines has also sent a contingent to help with the emergency response in the country.

00:23More than 100 people from the Philippines are being deployed to Myanmar as part of humanitarian assistance
00:29after the magnitude 7.7 earthquake hit the country.
00:33The Philippine Emergency Medical Assistance Team from the Department of Health,
00:38Urban Search and Rescue from the Bureau of Fire Protection, Armed Forces of the Philippines,
00:43Metropolitan Manila Development Authority,
00:46SRR Teams from Apex Mining Corporation, First-Gen Energy Development Corporation,
00:52and additional personnel from the Office of Civil Defense.
00:56Tomorrow, April 1, the Philippine Rescue Teams' tentative deployment will last for two weeks.
01:02According to Defense Secretary and NDRRMC Chairperson Gibut Yodoro,
01:06the Philippines is united in helping Myanmar in the face of calamity.
01:11OCD Administrator Undersecretary Ariel Nepomuceno also confirmed this
01:16based on their experience in sending assistance to the affected countries,
01:20including Syria and Turkey.
01:23The ASEAN Foreign Ministers also held a special emergency meeting
01:27on the current situation in Myanmar and Thailand
01:30as part of the agreed-upon relief and recovery efforts to help the countries in ASEAN.
01:37The ASEAN Emergency Response and Assessment Team was sent from the ASEAN Coordinating Center
01:43for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management and Relief Items
01:47through the Disaster Emergency Logistics System.
01:51The ASEAN Foreign Ministers are continuing to work
01:54to ensure rapid humanitarian assistance.
