A total of 178,148 tickets out of the 261,116 tickets offered by Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) for Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration have been sold out.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said that Electric Train Service (ETS) tickets were the most in demand, with only around 10,958 tickets remaining.

00:00Tickets for ETS and KTM InterCity have been on sale since 30th October, the 24th of Eid al-Fitr.
00:15KTMB has provided 100,380 tickets for ETS for the 28th of March to 6th of April,
00:24which includes 32 trips per day.
00:28For KTM InterCity, 43,920 tickets have been offered,
00:35including 22 round trips, East Shutter, South Express and East Raya Express.
00:41Meanwhile, Tebrau Shutter offers 99,200 tickets through JB Central.
00:48On 3rd March, KTMB has offered 4 additional ETS services for the 28th of March to 6th of April,
00:56which includes 2 round trips to KL Sentral Padang Besar and 2 round trips to KL Sentral Butterworth and vice versa.
01:05These additional services are carried out following the scheduled train tickets have been sold out.
01:10During the operation period, this service offers 12,600 seats to meet the user's requirements.
01:19In addition, on 20th March, KTMB also offers 2 additional ETS services
01:25for the 28th of March, 30th of March, 5th and 6th of April,
01:30with a total of 5,016 tickets for the route mentioned earlier.
01:37The total number of ETS tickets offered throughout this period is 117,956,
01:46with a total of 40 additional services.
01:49In addition, KTMB also provides special train services for the Lampayan-Adifitri Express,
01:55East Coast and North Coast, to meet the user's requirements.
02:00This year, KTMB provides 4 additional services for the KL Sentral route to KL Sentral,

02:07while 4 additional services for the North Coast for KL Sentral Padang Besar.
