A 32-year-old auxiliary policeman employed by a private company in Bukit Beruntung was behind the robbery of a goldsmith in Kota Damansara on Saturday (March 22).

At a press conference on Monday (March 24), Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan revealed that the suspect had taken a pistol from his workplace before heading to the goldsmith inside a hypermarket, where he stole RM2mil worth of jewellery.

00:00As previously reported, on March 22, 2025, at around 5 p.m., the Police Headquarters of Ketelan Jaya received the first information from the public
00:15stating that a gunfight took place at a gold shop in Pasar Raya, NSK, Kota Damansara.
00:22This incident was believed to be committed by a local man who was armed with a handgun during the gunfight.
00:33In the incident, the suspect acted on his own.
00:39According to our information, the suspect went to the shop and carried out a search and search in the area before the incident took place.
00:58It is believed that there were 7 pieces of jewellery in the shop, which were stolen by the suspect and then he ran away using a motorbike that was parked outside Pasar Raya Berkenaan.
01:20The loss is estimated to be around USD$2 million as stated by the shop owner.
01:29Based on the information, the investigation was carried out on March 22, at around 10 p.m.,
01:41the Police Headquarters of Ketelan Jaya and the Police Headquarters of Ketelan Jaya, the CID team,
01:47were able to arrest a 32-year-old Malay man, the suspect has no record of robbery and has been remanded for 7 days, from March 29 to March 29.

02:17symbolizing a proton, a phone, a remote control, a series of house keys,
02:25a bag of cash, the name of which is Kuachua, and 81 pieces of yellow chains,
