Twelve people were killed and four others injured when a van crashed into a ravine and caught fire in northern Mexico on Sunday (March 23) .

The accident, which occurred in Nuevo Leon, near the state capital Monterrey, also sparked a wildfire in the surrounding forest.

00:39being brought under control.
00:41The accident is the latest in a number of road accidents with high death tolls in the
