The raging wildfires in three provinces and regions in South Korea have killed at least four people and wounding six others as firefighters rushed to put out the fires amid dry and windy weather.

00:24More than 9,000 personnel and 105 helicopters were deployed to combat the blaze,

00:35The temple, located in Wiseong County in north Gyeongsang Province,
00:40was built during the Silla Dynasty more than 1,000 years ago.
00:44The monks only managed to salvage a few sacred relics before fleeing the temple.
00:49Acting President Choi Sang-mok said more than 1,500 residents had been evacuated to temporary shelters.
00:57He said the government will provide a special grant of 2.6 billion won for the provinces to fight the fires.
01:04The forest fire began in Sancheong County, about 250 kilometers from Seoul, on Friday,
01:11and spread to other parts of the regions.
01:14On Saturday evening, the government declared the region a disaster area.
