00:00The way that you guys live your life and how you operate as a couple, is there any advice

00:05that you would give to newly married couples that are maybe in the country music world

00:09and navigating the grand old opry and events and going on tour?

00:16I would say for every human, you have to wrap your arms around your own life, learn to be

00:23respectful with yourself, be kind to yourself, and then you have the capacity to be that

00:28way with other people, regardless of what your career is, but you've got to connect

00:34in here first and then you can love somebody.

00:40Speaking of that, you've had a few interviews about health, things that have happened with

00:47you in your life and how he's been such a big support system for you.

00:51Can you tell me about that?

00:55The last five years have been such a gift, because anything that is ever questioned,

01:02suddenly you see the value of it.

01:05It's like getting sick and all of a sudden going, I love being alive.

01:10I've had some health issues, but I'm good to go now.

01:12What has it been like with the support of a partner, how has that changed the process

01:19for you?

01:20Did that make you appreciate Vince more?

01:26Yes.

01:27I had a couple things, but after I had a bike accident with a head injury and I was like,

01:34what if I'm never like I was?

01:38Vince just said, Amy, in a day, life could change for anybody.

01:43He said, somebody that's a great musician could have a stroke and not be able to use

01:46their hands.

01:47You just have to live life with your knees flexed and whatever you wake up with, that's

01:53what you got.

01:54I'm just glad for a partner who said, we'll just take today as it comes.

01:59I think that that's such a good message to anyone who is married.

02:03You're going to love each other through the ups and the downs.

02:06You guys have done that.

02:07You've shown that character, that you guys really love each other.

02:11I think that's so inspiring just to anyone in the world.

02:14I know that you guys are stars, but you're also people.

02:18You also have a marriage and you have to go home to each other every night.

02:21I think that that's so beautiful, how you guys love each other through that.

02:24A lot of kindness, a lot of kindness back and forth to each other, which kind of solves

02:31all the problems.

02:32There's a long way.
