00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. was called by several families of the victims of the EJK

00:05who were responsible for the drug war in the last administration.

00:36She is Gina Dalia Cuartero,

00:38the mother of the drug war victim Jesus Cuartero,

00:42who was killed in 2019 in San Jose del Monte City in Bulacan,

00:47after being arrested by the International Criminal Court

00:51by former President Rodrigo Duterte.

00:53In the program Mike Abelive,

00:55Gina Cuartero told the story of what happened the day her 26-year-old son died.

01:02They were drinking, and someone called him.

01:09He said that it was really annoying to call him.

01:13He stood up and said goodbye.

01:16He said, I'll leave first, but I'll come back.

01:20But it was already 3 o'clock in the morning,

01:24he didn't come back, and we heard news that someone was killed in our area.

01:32They tried to file a complaint with the Commission on Human Rights,

01:38but it didn't work because no one wanted to investigate.

01:42Although I can't say if it's true that her son was under the influence of illegal drugs,

01:47Gina's mother, who is the victim,

01:49finished her studies and is now a professional.

01:53It was here that Gina Cuartero called President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
