00:00We've had a lot of very difficult moments over the past 13 years and, obviously, for me, I'm a very sensitive person and, from my role as a patient, I'm very empathetic because I understand firsthand what it means to live with this disease, but it has touched my heart and it has really broken me.
00:19We've had several situations, especially with patients, where, beyond the pain, it's the frustration of living with this disease, the incapacity, the lack of understanding, the statements, the despair of that chronic pain that doesn't go away.
00:36We've had several situations of frustration and despair, to the point of wanting to take your life. It's been one of the most difficult things we've experienced in the association.
00:47Beyond the emotional support line, we have a protocol that the psychologists built, and they also trained in emotional emergencies, so they follow the protocol, accompany the patient, contact the emergency person,
01:03the patient who is in our database, and a guide is given to the health professional who is accompanying him or who is going to accompany his process, because it's not something of the moment, but it has to have continuity.
