00:00The Transportation Department assured that the government's infrastructure projects will be fast but polished,

00:20The Department of Transportation will no longer put a timeline for the first underground railway project here in the country.

00:27This is what DOTR Secretary Vince Dizon said.

00:30Because of the problems arising from the fast completion of the project,

00:34such as issues with the right-of-way,

00:37one of the factors that slows it down are the informal settlers.

00:41Because of the ROAC, which prohibits the payment to the informal settlers,

00:46they need to look for a relocation before the project starts, which will hit their homes.

00:53The Underground Railway Project is a 33-kilometer-long project from Valenzuela City to Bicutan and Paranaque.

01:01It has 17 rail stations and is connected to the IA Terminal 3,

01:06which will provide services to the passengers of Paliparan.

01:10Its goal is to increase public transport in the country,

01:14provide transportation and save time for commuters.

01:18In an interview with Radyo Pilipinas, the official was told by President Ferdinand R. Maris Jr.
