00:33According to the Education Secretary, Sunny Angara, there are two big tech companies that will help the teachers by providing access to virtual training.

00:42There are teachers who were given laptops and other devices that will help them improve their teaching.

00:49As part of this program, the teachers are being given extra training in the use of new technology to facilitate the teaching and study of the students.

00:59Well, this week we signed agreements with LinkedIn and Google, which are two of the biggest tech companies in the world.

01:09This will provide access to the training of our teachers.

01:13Even if they are just at home, they can access their phones.

01:18And they can use this to earn credits for their professional development.

01:22They can use this as part of their promotion.

01:24In addition to this, DEPEDD is also preparing for the upcoming election, where many teachers will be considered as canvassers or voters.

01:33To ensure a good and fair election, the teachers will have special training in the election process,

01:40in the use of voting machines, and the passing of ballots to maintain transparency and credibility of the vote.

01:47DEPEDD assures that not only in teaching, the teachers will become stronger, but also in their important role in the democracy of the country.

01:56This is part of our duty as teachers.
