While the manager wasn't at St James' Park due to illness, but his class shone right through with the players not dropping 1% in terms of effort and quality. That's the sign of a great manager, according to the Geordie Journos.

00:00Jason Tillis said it himself, the quicker they get the manager back, the better.
00:04So our thoughts on the Geordie Journals, I wish, anyhow, make a speedy recovery and
00:09seeing him back on the touchline at St James' Park or an opposition touchline very, very
00:14soon.
00:15Yeah, we can't wait to see him back in charge of Newcastle United here at the Geordie
00:18Journals.
00:19Fantastic job that he's done and I really respect the fact that the player didn't drop
00:23and there was no signs that he wasn't there.
00:25He may as well have been there.
00:27That's a testament to him as, like I say, putting those processes in place that everybody
00:32knows what their role is and what they should do and they didn't drop an inch even though
00:36he wasn't there and he wasn't that strong voice on the touchline and I think that's
00:40big respect for the manager.
