00:18we just sort of didn't get much sleep last night so I was thinking it was gonna
00:22be rocky but I saw some stuff back and it seemed all right. Oh, I mean I was
00:26there, you know, I'm your fangirl. Number one. Yeah, number one and it was
00:32absolutely incredible. You seriously crushed it. Thank you so much. Is it weird
00:36going from being in the UK and you're playing for like hundreds of thousands
00:41of people and then you come to America and it's like you have to kind of start
00:46over here, you know? Yeah, it's like it's humbling, it's nice. Yeah, yeah. You know, we played but you know what it is, I love the smaller shows so like we did a
00:55show in Portland the other day and that was like one of the best gigs I've played
01:00in a long time. It was like, it was, I don't know how many, what was the cap, Ollie?
01:05Like, what was it? Oh, so just over, just over. It was like, yeah, it was like 13, 15 and it was like,
01:12but it felt, it was like compact, do you know what I mean? And it was like really loud. Yeah. Like super loud.
01:19I like Sam Fender loud. Yeah. Like when I saw you with the Fonda. Yeah, that was loud. That was so good.
01:26But, um, but yeah, it was amazing. It was nice to go back down a bit, you know? Yeah.
01:32You kind of lose stuff. I think when it gets massive. Well, your ego got really big.
01:36Well, yeah. I mean, the size of my fucking head. Jesus. It's fucked.
01:43But I just really want everybody here to know who you are, how incredible you are and I think
01:48that people need to go out and see you live to really, you know, know what it's all about.
01:53I would love it. I would love it. If it started popping off over here, like it would be amazing.

02:07No. Because there's a lot of interesting characters here.
02:10Yeah. You know what it is? I did it like the first time I ever like did it. I did a video once
02:17when we're in Paris. Okay. Like doing people watching and I was kind of like doing people's
02:21voices or what I imagined. Oh yeah. Yeah. I've seen those videos. Yeah. So it was like,
02:26it was a bit, but then I was like thinking, what happens if somebody just turns around and goes like,
02:29I'm not cool with this? Like you've just filmed me and pretended that I sound like this and I don't
02:34sound like this. Yeah. But we do it for, we do it for the gram. Yeah. We do it for the fun.
02:38Yeah. I mean, I might do it. And you're really good at doing impersonations. I try. Yeah.

03:16to have just seen Tom Petty. Yeah. I knew you were going to say that. You're on a Tom Petty kick right now.
03:20I am. Yeah. But I'll tell you what I've been listening to. Well, you, the guy who's supporting
03:24me on tour, young Jesus, I think like that's that full album is one of the best albums I've heard.
03:31Like, like last year, that was my number one album. Okay. And, uh, he's like amazing, a great writer,
03:37a really interesting voice, like really just got a lot of power and just like, you really believe
03:43what he's saying. Yes. Cause sometimes his voice breaks on the record, like, and it kind of sounds a
03:48bit goofy, but it's like the best goofy I've ever heard. It's like very genuine. Yeah. It's real.
03:52Yeah. We were talking about that. Just how, you know, songwriters today, you want to hear
03:56a story and that's what I feel you provide is you, you know, you're really a great storyteller
04:02and just beyond talented. Um, so, um, if you could curate a Sam Fender festival and pick three
04:11headliners dead or alive and you can say Tom Petty again, who would you, who would you choose?
04:19Uh, Donny Hathaway. I just have, I would love to have seen Donny Hathaway sing. Uh,
04:27yeah, maybe Chuck Petty in there as well. Joni Mitchell. There you go.
04:31Oh, okay. Okay. Yeah. I just saw her at the fire aid festival. Really?
04:35Yeah. She was incredible. It was awesome. Well, she was like sitting and doing gigs again.
04:39Yeah. Just, well, I heard she was singing again, but I haven't. Yeah. You know what it is?
04:43Can I tell you something mental? I got offered to go to a Joni jam. Like, you know how there was
04:51like people were going around Joni's house and, uh, and I didn't go. No way. Honestly, it was like,
04:57it was, it was nerves. I was like, there's no way I can like sit next to Joni Mitchell and be like,
05:04do you want to listen to this? Oh my God. I was like, and I was like, does she even want,
05:09does she even want these people around? And obviously she did, but like, yeah, I got,
05:13I got offered to go and like, I bottled it. I completely bottled it. Okay. Lesson learned.
05:18Yeah. No, it's one of, it's one of my great regrets. It really, it really plays on my mind.
05:24I'm like, I could have. All right. Well, let's put it out there. Joni Mitchell,
