00:00But we saw some history in the National Hockey League.
00:03Alex Ovechkin passed Wayne Gretzky for the most goals
00:07in the history of the NHL, which is remarkable.
00:15Absolutely incredible.
00:16If you ever want a chuckle, you go look at Wayne Gretzky
00:24and where he sits on the all-time list
00:27and how it stacks up next to everyone else that's played that sport.
00:34His points number, the assist numbers, these things,
00:37they'll never be touched.
00:39The trip down Wayne Gretzky, the NHL reference,
00:44is one of my favorite trips to take.
00:47I had a buddy, shout-out-of-my-guy Dave.
00:49He and I used to work a kind of office job together.
00:52And, I don't know, once a month, it was just Gretzky Day.
00:58And we'd go through it all.
01:01And the idea that someone actually caught Wayne Gretzky on anything
01:06is remarkable.
01:09It's awesome.
01:11And there's a couple of things there.
01:15One, before the weekend, they had posted a prop
01:21of would Wayne Gretzky, excuse me,
01:25would Ovechkin break the record in the regular season?
01:31It's like minus 260.
01:35Sure did.
01:36Got himself on a heater.
01:37He scored in every single game this month.
01:40He did it with still five games to spare.
01:42And that's where, and maybe an appropriate thing to remember
01:47with draft season coming up, sometimes minus 260
01:51is a great, great bet.
01:54And ended up the case if you played Ovee
01:57to get this done in the regular season,
02:01which is what everybody was expecting.
