00:00I was just talking about the Ovi thing and betting a hat trick for Ovi, which I saw.
00:06How about this, Dave? I saw this this morning when I was looking at all these numbers.
00:10The same book, if you go under to score three plus goals, had Ovechkin listed at 18 to one,
00:17and then they had a special tab on the side that said Ovi to break record tonight, 20 to one.
00:24It's the same outcome in the same game, and they had different numbers for both of them.
00:31You've got to look at this stuff really close, and Dave, please explain what a guy getting a
00:36hat trick, even the best players in the league, on a regular night, getting 20 to one for a
00:41hat trick. It sounds awesome, 20 to one, but it's way off the mark. It's way off.
00:45It should be 50. It should be 50, like for anybody, regularly. I mean, how many guys,
00:52how many times a guy get a hat trick in an 82-game season? Once? Twice? I mean, it's 50 to one.
01:00Aho on Carolina is the chalk in the Carolina-Detroit game for a hat trick,
01:04and he's 70 to one, and that's the talk. He is the top of the board is 70 to one.
01:08That's the price. I mean, that's what it is, once a season, so it's 75, 80 to one, at least.
01:16We're talking about this for a couple weeks here on the show. I've been talking about it
01:20throughout the week, you know, on InGameLive and everything. When is he going to do it?
01:25I don't think it's a question of if anymore, Mike. I really think it's just a matter of when.
01:31Now, we had pegged the Penguin game, the last game of the season, or the Islander game,
01:36the second-to-last game of the season. Mike, I think he's going to do it before then.
01:40I think he's getting two tonight, and he's getting one on Sunday against the Islanders.
01:44I think this thing's over on Sunday. I think he gets a combination of three.
01:48Yeah, and I actually do my picks for a night. I usually throw a goal scorer in at the end in my
01:55last segment. The two goals is more palatable tonight in terms of a price. It's around five
02:03to one. Now, I know, usually seven, eight for two goals. For him, two goals, and they're playing the
02:08worst team in the league. So five to one for two goals tonight was a little bit more palatable,
02:13so I think he's going to get two tonight against the Blackhawks and then get it against the
02:16Islanders on Sunday.
