00:00Yesterday, Tom, 4-0, 10 hits out of the Marlins, 7 out of the Braves, no run for the Braves here.
00:06Schwellenbach and that starting lineup here, they're not going to be able to do too much, Tom, if the Braves just can't score runs.
00:13Not scoring runs right now, Schwellenbach has been amazing, and this is something that we also discussed on the preview show,
00:20where we know Chris Elkenbrink, I was personally high on Schwellenbach,
00:23Smith-Shawver, their other starter, looks okay to kind of bad.
00:28They need to kind of, I don't want to say tread water, because I think that puts them in a bad light,
00:32but that's what they ultimately need to do.
00:34They need to tread water until Stryder gets back, until Lacuni gets back,
00:38and maybe it's just part of the team morale mentality that we're not at full strength,
00:43we need to kick things into gear once those guys get here, but they need to get the hitting going.
00:47Austin Riley hasn't looked amazing, Matt Olsen has looked okay,
00:50Ozzy Alves has looked okay at times, like, they're just not having the pieces together all on the same day.
00:55Outside of the Friday night performance where they put up the runs in the home opener, that's great,
00:59they haven't brought that level of consistency.
01:01Schwellenbach has been that player that they need to tread water until the other stars get back in the lineup,
01:07and things, we'll get into it later, but things are okay for the Braves right now, there's no other way to put it.
