00:00Uh mine is Garrett Crochet of the Boston Red Sox.
00:04You know, you never know how pitchers are going to do and
00:06players are going to do when they go from one team to the
00:08other. This is a huge, huge win for the Red Sox. You know, I
00:12at the time, I thought Crochet was good but he is exceeding my
00:17expectations early on. Strikeouts, eight shutout
00:20innings in Baltimore. Red Sox, Georgia, I know the start they
00:24got off to is like, okay, you know, it's nothing great but I
00:29will say that almost every button they pushed has been
00:33correct and that's so hard to do in this day and age of Major
00:37League Baseball with the trades and free agency, you would look
00:40at this and expect, oh, okay, something they do will not work
00:43out. Maybe it's Walker Buehler. I know the reviews have not
00:45been great thus far on him. Maybe but Crochet definitely
00:49looks like a fantastic deal for the Red Sox. We'll have to see
00:52how it works out for the White Sox in the long run. Then, when
00:55you think about it, they got Crochet and they didn't even
00:57give up on their top three, right? Meyer, Anthony, Campbell.
01:02All right, so they did a great job of getting this guy. I was
01:05curious about him as well but how he would do or how he will
01:08do pitching in Fenway, you know, lefty there. We'll see that.
01:10Yeah, I don't think he's made a start in Fenway yet but I like
01:13your pick there. He was all fantastic. So, yeah, all good
01:16there. I know the guy I was going to pick, I had to think,
01:19oh, he's pitched this week, not last week. The guy, I want to
01:22go with Tyler Glasner, who's one of those two-star guys. He
01:24did well for me and Doug. In his first thought, we'll see what
01:26he does over the weekend in Philadelphia. I guess maybe I
01:30should, before I said this, it would have been nice if he
01:31pitched better last night and that's Kevin Gossman of the
01:34Toronto Blue Jays. He had a very good first start against
01:37Baltimore again, encouraging. Once again, pitched against
01:41Baltimore. I think the Blue Jays are a team that could do some
01:43damage here and I think Gossman has to be a big reason for that.
01:46He needs to be, I think he's the ace of that staff. I don't
01:48think it's Berrios. It's certainly not Scherzer, you
01:51know, Francis maybe one day. So, I think he needs to be that
01:54ace. Unfortunately, he did not pitch all that great against
01:56the Mets yesterday. Gave up a bunch of runs here. I think I
01:59want to say three or even three or five and maybe more
02:02concerning, he didn't have a strikeout yesterday, which I
02:06still can't believe he got and strike anybody out. So, Gossman
02:09was on my guy, helped me win last week. This week, he's not
02:12going to do that.
02:13Yeah. No, look, you look at your top performances and the
02:16other one that I wanted to mention, I guess my honorable
02:19mention and really maybe would you, is it fair to say he had
02:23the best stat line of the week? This week is Zach Gallon,
02:27George. You think that that is fair? Did he have the best
02:29start, you think, this week?
02:31He was good. He was really good against the Yankees the other
02:35night. Yeah, I think that's fair. I definitely think that's
02:38fair. He could have gone further in that game if Lula would
02:41have let him go yet. I mean, he was throwing hard. He was
02:43striking batters out and he was hit the bottom of that zone
02:46over and over and over again. I know it was a brutal night
02:50here in New York. It was cold. It was raining. It was miserable.
02:52One of those nights, by the way, you couldn't pay me enough
02:54to go to a game, but he was good. He looked like the
02:57Cy Young Zach Gallon. If Zach Gallon's going to be that pitcher,
03:00Dimeback's going to be, they're going to be a team with Gallon
03:04and Burns in a playoff series.
03:06Yeah, that's not going to be fun to play.
