00:00This is the Godolphin Mile.
00:01It's a group two race.
00:03A million dollars up for grabs.
00:05They will travel a mile.
00:06We've seen the number one, Kyle Ostro.
00:09We've seen the number five, Little Vic,
00:11run out here in the U.S.
00:12Mufasa, Mufasa, Mufasa.
00:15Shout out Milo.
00:15I hope he heard me say that one.
00:17My son, he's gonna love that one
00:18because he's a big Lion King fan.
00:20But Raging Torrent is one of the major players in there.
00:23He won the grade one Malibu for trainer Doug O'Neill,
00:26and they've been pointing to this race for a while.
00:29He's really good at seven furlongs, Alexa,
00:31and the one turn mile.
00:33So he's going to be one of the major players.
00:36We even know Steel Sunshine.
00:37He's been pretty successful down at Gulfstream Park.
00:40He won the Gulfstream Park Mile, I believe, a year ago.
00:42So a lot of U.S. faces in this race.
00:46Yeah, there are.
00:47And I mean, there's a lot of U.S. faces,
00:49I feel like, in all of these races.
00:50The next one we're gonna preview is race six,
00:53actually, the Golden Shaheen.
00:55It's another, it's a sprint, six furlongs,
00:57and they're going for $2 million on the line for it.
01:00And the favorite, also coming from the U.S.,
01:03is the number nine Straight No Chaser,
01:06who's, you know, my racehorse horse,
01:09which is one of the, not one of,
01:11it is the largest ownership group, probably, in the world,
01:15who won the Breeders' Cup Sprint at Del Mar this year,
01:18and then-
01:19So think about how the Green Bay Packers ownership is,
01:21where everybody, like, owns a little bit,
01:23and they all put in.
01:24That's basically what my racehorse is.
01:26You can all put in, like, a little bit of money,
01:29and be part of this huge team that owns horses together.
01:32Yeah, like, a couple bucks,
01:33and you get a tiny piece of, you know,
01:35maybe the Derby winner, which is happening, so.
01:38But, you know, he won at Mainan in February,
01:42so he's already taken it to the track
01:43and collected over $2 million.
01:45So I think he does have a leg up
01:46on some of these other shippers in here,
01:47being really comfortable.
01:50Couple other ones to mention,
01:51the number 10 Super Chow horse I've won with before,
01:55on Preakness Day last year.
01:57Kind of had a rough rest of the year,
01:59not finding the winner's circle again,
02:00until last out in the stakes at Goldstream.
02:02So I think he's an interesting long shot
02:05to have on your radar at plus 1,400.
02:08And then the other favorite to mention here
02:10is going to be the 11 Tuhs, or Twos,
02:13who's two-to-one odds, and is a local choice.
02:17So they bought this horse for $7,000,
02:21and he's amassed over $2 million in earnings.
02:23So I always just love those stories as an owner
02:27when you really hit the jackpot.
02:29But coming off five straight wins,
02:31all at this track, already beat a number of horses
02:33in the field that he'll be facing today.
02:35So I think those are some of the major contenders
02:37in race six.
02:38Yeah, he's last year's winner,
02:39and he has not lost a race since winning last year.
02:42We can move to the seventh race,
02:44which is the Dubai Turf.
02:46So you think about this day,
02:48which is Dubai World Cup night,
02:49it's like a track meet.
02:50And you'll go from horses in each division,
02:53to sprinters, and then you'll go to horses
02:55going longer on the grass.
02:56In the Dubai Turf, they run for $5 million,
03:00the number two-ranked horse in the world,
03:02Romantic Warrior.
03:04He almost beat Forever Young in the Saudi Cup,
03:07and that was his first start on the dirt.
03:09But now he's back on the turf
03:10where he's even better, Alexa.
03:12So one of the top horses in the world
03:15will be running Romantic Warrior in race seven
03:18on Dubai World Cup night.
03:19I'm not gonna talk about horses
03:21that I think could beat him,
03:22because I think if he shows up with his best effort,
03:24I don't think they can beat him in that race.
03:26He's been incredible.
03:28Just to give you an idea
03:29of how much money he's earned in his career,
03:31$26 million in earnings so far in his career.
03:37So what about the Shima Classic
03:40where they're running for $6 million?
03:42That's gonna be race number eight, the Shima Classic.
03:46They'll go a mile and a half there.
03:47Yeah, and we mentioned earlier,
03:49the World Cup's 12 million.
03:50I mean, there's so much money on the line tomorrow.
03:53But yes, in the Shima Classic,
03:55I think the main one to mention
03:57is the number four, Rebels Romance,
03:58who you may remember from last year's Breeders' Cup,
04:02when he won the Breeders' Cup turf by a neck.
04:04Since then, he's won another great one in Qatar,
04:06and he's the defending champion for this race.
04:08So he's quite the world traveler.
04:10He's won stakes in Qatar, the US,
04:12Great Britain, Dubai, Hong Kong, Germany.
04:14I mean, he's won everywhere.
04:16Just total global domination,
04:18over 12 million in earnings,
04:20trained by Charles Appelbein, owned by Godolphin,
04:22which is winning connections for this race.
04:24They've won three out of the last six years,
04:27including him winning last year.
04:28So, I mean, he's...
04:31I'm not gonna talk about anybody else either
04:32because I really think he's the one to win this race.
04:36So he was the first horse to win the Breeders' Cup turf
04:38in non-consecutive years last November.
04:42And he can now be the first repeat winner
04:45of the Shima Classic,
04:46which was first run back in 1998.
