With councils potentially set to lose government funding for not meeting pothole targets, do you think this will lead to better roads? Do you think the government should hold councils accountable for potholes? What’s your experience with potholes in your area?

00:00The government should do as much as they can to help councils, you know, all councils are struggling.
00:04We have a lot of potholes, people drive in them, they wreck your cars.
00:07I do think that councils should spend more money on them.
00:09However, if it's a case of school funding or pothole funding,
00:13I think we can just learn to drive round them for a little bit and then try and make that money go further.
00:17They're everywhere, literally every single road that you're on, especially around Hyde Park where I am,
00:21there's so many, I think even at home as well.
00:24The potholes in West Yorkshire generally really are awful, they're everywhere.
00:30The road seems to be getting worse rather than getting better, in my opinion, with regards to the potholes.
00:35And I think that, again, it comes down to the economics and finance and prioritisation of the money.
00:42But I think a lot more work needs to be done in order to save our roads and make them more safer for public use.
00:49I've had a car incident, completely knackered the suspension because of poor roads in Norfolk.
00:55I don't think councils should pay for your garage bill.
00:58If you can prove it, yeah.
