00:58It's been a restoration project. What we don't want to do is change the acoustics, so the
01:02reverb of this room was 2.3 back in the 70s and today, after the restoration, it's still
01:092.3. We have simply washed down the walls to preserve that sound. The floor has been
01:16re-sanded and oiled. We can't varnish that floor, it's too reflective. The majority of
01:21the upgrades are really technological upgrades in the control room, but this room is just
01:26about preserving that magic
01:48What's so exciting about a room like Studio One is what happens on the day is what happens
01:55for the rest of time. It's like that history being made. Whether it's good history or
01:58bad history or whatever, you're making a moment then, and that changes every day in here.
02:03And there's so many amazing stories, personal stories or musical stories that have happened
02:10in that room. The ghosts are insane in there.
