There's no messing around going I went to the final 12 months of his contract, clubs might come in. Pompey don't have to worry about that whatsoever.
00:37So I think it's been very sensible and we've seen just why they did that to secure him, because clearly there were a lot of clubs in for him in the Championship in the summer, clearly he's come in as one of the top earners and one of the reasons why Pompey were able to secure him was the offer of that long term contract and it's clever, it really is.
