00:00Overall, more than 308 families out of 1,254 victims have registered with the Community Welfare Department and PPS.
00:15There are two categories, those who register and live in PPS and those who register and do not live in PPS.
00:24Two victims are being treated at the Government Hospital, one at Ampang Hospital and the other at Kuala Lumpur Hospital
00:34for certain reasons, because there is a critical effect on their respiratory system.
00:45In addition, 630 victims out of 157 families are living in two temporary accommodation centres, namely PPS, Masjid Putrahaj and Kamelia Putrahaj.
01:00The other 624 victims out of 151 families do not live in PPS and are staying at their relatives' or friends' houses due to their own efforts.
01:11In terms of damage to houses and premises, the Government has identified a total of 87 houses and premises that have suffered total loss.
01:24They cannot be redeveloped at all.
01:27In addition, 148 houses have been damaged but can be redeveloped after a repair or improvement process.
01:40I would also like to inform you that starting today, we will also start implementing some control measures against some localities,
01:51especially in temporary accommodation centres, because we have found that there has been a bit too much negligence
01:57among passengers, relatives, friends, companions, NGOs and so on.
02:04In fact, JKM will implement this control, providing a meeting place, but in order to ensure the safety, health and privacy of the victims,
02:16the place will be restricted to certain individuals only to visit and so on.
02:22Tomorrow, I will meet representatives from the authorities, such as the ICU and Petronas,
02:29so that we can see the second phase of assistance after the initial assistance has been completed,
02:34which is in terms of temporary accommodation.
02:37There are a few formulas that we will discuss and finalize.
02:40God willing, on Sunday or Monday, I will inform you about the process so that we can carry out support in a better way,
02:52as well as to promote the noble principles of Raja Muda Selangor, so that we can provide a more comfortable accommodation.
02:59But for that purpose, I would like to inform you that we need at least another week for them to stay in PPS,
03:07while we can provide support and welfare to those affected.
03:13In fact, for that purpose, we also hope that whoever I get a lot more, not only support in the form of morals or services,
03:22there is also support in the form of goods, there is also support in the form of finance.
03:27In fact, the state government will re-activate the national conservation fund.
03:31Anyone who is interested in providing financial support, please do so.
03:37But in terms of services and other factors, please contact the Public Welfare Department.
03:42And I would like to advise that there is no place for us to hoard unnecessary goods,
03:48because there is already a trend in that place.
03:51So if possible, please provide the assistance that is needed to the victims who have been affected or who are in trouble here.
04:01I will start the discussion tomorrow with Petronas,
04:16because there are a few suggestions for new accommodation or temporary accommodation, not new accommodation.
04:22Temporary accommodation for the victims who have been affected before a good process can be carried out.
04:27So let me discuss with Petronas tomorrow,
04:31possibly on Saturday I will announce it after I make some assessments.
