Those affected by the gas pipeline fire in Putra Heights, including the victims, are advised to lodge police reports to facilitate the investigation process and distribution of assistance.

Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu said after inspecting the fire site on Thursday (April 3) that the police reports were important to facilitate follow-up action by the authorities, including extending assistance to the victims concerned.

Mohamad, who is Kota Raja Member of Parliament, also said the affected homeowners were allowed to return to their houses in stages, accompanied by the police and personnel from the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department and Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), for inventory inspection.

03:05And I see here that the food is not the main thing.
03:10The main thing is their loss.
03:13Loss of goods and so on.
03:15However, we will monitor the food completely.
03:19God willing.
03:26What assistance do we have in the ranks?
03:28Because there are Selangor state and federal governments.
03:31So, of course, it will be discussed in the Cabinet on the 9th of this month.
03:36And the assistance will be made intensively, God willing.
03:46The Prime Minister has started the assistance and will be followed by the other assistants.
03:51Depending on the situation.
03:52Maybe it's just not the same.
03:54Loss of goods.
03:56The total loss.
