The Puchong Parliamentary Office will provide immediate cash assistance of RM1,000 to families from Kampung Kuala Sungai Baru and Kampung Tengah whose houses were destroyed by the gas pipeline fire in Putra Heights, Subang Jaya on Tuesday (April 1).

Puchong MP Yeo Bee Yin said the aid for both villages, which fall within her constituency, will be distributed starting today, specifically for victims who suffered '’total loss" of property in the tragedy.

00:38For other categories of victims, they will distribute cash aid once they receive the

00:45Yeo added that for any emergency needs, residents in the constituency can contact the Chairman
00:51of the Batu 13 Village Development and Security Committee at 01127217445.
00:59As of Wednesday, 529 fire victims have been placed at the Temporary Relief Centres at
01:04Dewan Masjid, Putra Heights and Dewan Serbaguna MBSJ.
