00:00How has parenthood changed your relationship with Heather?
00:03Oh, good question.
00:04I mean, it's completely changed our dynamic, you know?
00:06But I mean, we've been parenting Taylor and Brayden
00:08since, honestly, the week we met,
00:11where before, you know, half the time it was parent life,
00:13and half the time it was me and her.
00:14So it's obviously been an adjustment,
00:16because now it's full-time parents.
00:19But it's brought us closer together
00:20in so many different ways.
00:21And, you know, together, we're standing there,
00:23and we're looking at this thing that we created
00:24that we're so in love with and so obsessed with
00:27that it's a great feeling.
00:28Yeah, I know that she spoke out and said that
00:30baby number two for you guys is a point of contention.
00:35How do you feel about it?
00:37You know, we're in negotiations.
00:40It's like a real estate negotiation.
00:42You know, for me, like, listen, I love being a dad.
00:44Everybody knows I love being a dad.
00:45And what's most important to me is being a good dad.
00:48And being a good dad is showing up to everything,
00:51being there, being supportive,
00:53going to all the things, right?
00:54And at some point, you start running out of time.
00:56I'm filming shows, I'm running business,
00:59I have three kids, I have...
01:01So I don't know if I have the capacity
01:03to take on more right now.
01:05And that's my only concern.
01:06Sure, yeah.
01:07She said that you guys have been doing
01:08some couples therapy.
01:09How did you feel like that's really helped you guys
01:11work through some of the issues?
01:13Yeah, well, we've been doing the couples therapy
01:15for a while, and that was even before
01:18having the conversation about the baby.
01:19And the reason we actually started the couples therapy
01:21is because friends of ours have been going for 30 years,
01:23and they said it's the best thing they ever did
01:25for the relationship.
01:26So what we started doing is going to couple therapy,
01:28not to fix something that's broken,
01:31but to prevent something from breaking.
01:33So yeah, it's like taking care of the injury
01:36before you get injured.
01:37No, it's so true.
