00:0071 days in, now 72 days, I asked you,
00:07are you better off than you were 72 days ago economically?
00:11I asked that question.
00:13Ask it to your friends.
00:14Are they better off economically?
00:16Well, I don't see how they could be, because prices are up.
00:21Stock market's down.
00:22The risk of recession is climbing.
00:24Consumer confidence is in the gutter.
00:27401k plans are losing value.
00:31Are you better off than you were 72 days ago
00:35under this president's leadership
00:36on the verge of his so-called liberation day
00:39that's going to drive prices up even more?
00:42And he's doubling down on tax cuts for the rich.
00:44He wants an economy that works for him,
00:47his billionaire donors, his powerful special interests,
00:50and is coming at the expense of working people who
00:52are struggling to get by.
00:54And a lot of the programs that they rely on,
00:56like for their health care, like for their social security,
01:00he wants an economy where the richest people get
01:02the biggest tax cuts, where the largest corporations, heck,
01:05they may get to skip out on taxes altogether.
01:08And where hardworking Americans are
01:10getting crushed by rising food prices and rising rents.
01:15This idea that that might trickle down.
01:19But we know it doesn't work.
