00:00Hey, Mr. President, turn off Fox TV and take a few moments to read the Constitution.
00:17In our lives in elementary school, we learned about how the government was formed and the
00:28Constitutional Convention and all that stuff.
00:30I should have studied it harder, but Trump should have learned it in the first place.
00:37And what we got is a separation of powers.
00:42And you know why?
00:44Because the people who founded this country took on the most powerful person in the world
00:50at that time, the King of England.
00:54And they said, we never want to have one person in this country who has all of the
01:01power like the King of England.
01:04So they created a government with an executive branch, a legislative branch, and a judicial
01:11branch.
01:13And what Trump is doing every single day in an unconstitutional way is trying to undermine
01:22the powers of Congress, undermine the First Amendment.
01:28You have a president who is suing ABC and CBS and Matters of the Blind Register.
01:39He is threatening, he is threatening to investigate PBS and NPR.
01:49He loves media that forms on him, that tells him how great he is.
01:55But I don't see you, Mr. President.
01:57What democracy is about is people discussing issues, debating issues, and disagreeing
02:05with you.
02:08And if you can't take the criticism, get the hell out of politics.
02:20What this moment is about, why we're here today, is we will not allow America to become
02:28an oligarchy.
02:34This nation was built by working people, and we're not going to let a handful of billionaires
02:44run the government.
