00:00We also had great news this morning on the border.
00:04Our homeland security team, our national security team continues to do an incredibly effective
00:08job when it comes to deporting foreign terrorists from American soil.
00:12You guys continue to ask the president this question about a third term, and then he answers
00:16honestly and candidly with a smile, and then everybody here melts down about his answer.
00:21Again, I'll let the president make the announcement on Wednesday, but I think any country that
00:26has treated the American people unfairly should expect to receive a tariff in return.
00:31Hey everybody.
00:32Hey Caroline.
00:33This is quite the group.
00:34Yes.
00:35It's a beautiful day.
00:36Caroline, does President Trump have any plans-
00:37The nice weather.
00:38Everybody's out.
00:39It's Monday.
00:40We have another big week.
00:42On Wednesday, it will be Liberation Day in America, as President Trump has so proudly
00:47dubbed it.
00:48The cabinet will be here for the event.
00:50It'll be our first Rose Garden event of this administration, so you all will be invited
00:54to attend and cover this historic moment.
00:56The president will be announcing a tariff plan that will roll back the unfair trade
01:01practices that have been ripping off our country for decades.
01:04He's doing this in the best interest of the American worker.
01:07We also had great news this morning on the border.
01:11Our homeland security team, our national security team continues to do an incredibly effective
01:15job when it comes to deporting foreign terrorists from American soil.
01:19In 2017, Tren de Aragua and MS-13, illegal criminal terrorists, were deported from our
01:25country back to El Salvador, and they will no longer ever be able to say they can roam
01:29free in this country under this president.
01:32These were convicted felons, murderers, rapists, who are no longer in our country, and I think
01:36we should all be very grateful for that.
01:38Caroline, what method would the president use to potentially run for a third term, as
01:41he said he had no other methods there?
01:43Look, you guys continue to ask the president this question about a third term, and then
01:47he answers honestly and candidly with a smile, and then everybody here melts down about his
01:52answer.
01:53The president talked about this last night on the plane.
01:55He said, it's not really something we're thinking about.
01:58He has four years.
01:59There's a lot of work to do.
02:00We've done a lot in these nearly first 100 days, and the American people love what this
02:05president is doing, particularly when it comes to efforts to secure the border.
02:09As you said last week, Caroline, you said it would be an investigation or a review into
02:15how Jeffrey Guilford's number got on that group chat.
02:19What's the status of that review, and what is the status of National Security Advisor
02:23Mike Waltz?
02:24As the president has made it very clear, Mike Waltz continues to be an important part of
02:28his national security team, and this case has been closed here at the White House, as
02:32far as we are concerned.
02:34There have been steps made to ensure that something like that can obviously never happen
02:38again, and we're moving forward, and the president and Mike Waltz and his entire national security
02:43team have been working together very well.
02:45If you look at how much safer the United States of America is, because of the leadership of
02:50this team.
02:51The U.S. that may have other forms of non-tariff trade barriers, I'm thinking in my case of
02:56Australia, can they expect to be hit in Wednesday's announcement, or can they expect to be let
03:01down and dealt with another time?
03:03Again, I'll let the president make the announcement on Wednesday, but I think any country that
03:08has treated the American people unfairly should expect to receive a tariff in return
03:13on Wednesday.
03:14Caroline, you talk about the European Union.
03:16Is the president expected to impose those tariffs in blocks, or will he distinguish
03:20countries within those trading blocks?
03:22Again, I will let the president get into the specifics of the announcement.
03:25It's his announcement to make.
03:26Thank you, Caroline.
03:29Don't miss out.
