00:12engaged in this phase in the accreditation process as a scientific recovery and care institute
00:18in the field of pathologies of the locomotive apparatus.
00:21This is the objective of the new scientific advisory board announced during the final event
00:26of the Spine 4.0 research project promoted in Rome by INAIL
00:31with the Policlinico Universitario Campus Biomedico Foundation.
00:35We can say that today is a fundamental stage in the growth course of our Policlinico Universitario Foundation,
00:43a growth course always within the framework of our history and our identity that places the person at the center.
00:51It is clear that the birth of the scientific advisory board reinforces our presence in the national and above all international sanitary panorama.
01:03The profiles of excellence and competence that have been inserted within the advisory board
01:09certainly represent a great support for our strategic line in the field of research
01:18and at the same time guarantee and preside over the role of scientific innovator of our foundation.
01:25The new scientific advisory board, in fact, is made up of six experts of international fame in the medical and scientific field,
01:31including the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 2013 Randy Wayne Sheckman.
01:36The contribution of these scientists will allow us to further evolve and identify those that are the strategic lines
01:44of clinical research of our foundation, including personalized medicine, precision medicine
01:51and the application of artificial intelligence to technologies and cures.
01:56All this will allow us to evolve further and favor a better care of our patients.
02:03The advisory board is a fundamental institution for any academic structure that deals with research.
02:09Because it means putting together a series of accredited personalities from the scientific point of view of research itself
02:17who give you advice, help you, guide you how to conduct research.
02:23Since we are also accredited as an accredited scientific institute, which is an institution of the Ministry of Health,
02:30which has the excellence of assistance, but above all the excellence of research,
02:35we need this assistance because it tells us where to go.
