01:05I have a message for our American friends.
01:08Denmark's foreign minister has scolded the Trump administration for its tone in criticizing
01:12Denmark and Greenland, saying his country is investing more in Arctic security.
01:17Lars Luger Rasmussen made the remarks in a video posted to social media after a visit
01:22to Greenland on Friday by U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance.
01:27Rasmussen said Denmark is open to criticism, but added he didn't appreciate the tone.
01:32He also pointed out that in January, Denmark had committed to a 1.9 billion euro investment
01:38for Arctic security.
01:40During his visit to the Pitefix Space Base, Vance accused Denmark of under-investment
01:45in Greenland's security.
01:47Trump's repeated threats to annex Greenland have been met with anger both on the island
01:51and in Denmark.
01:52On Saturday, hundreds of protesters demonstrated outside the U.S. Embassy in Copenhagen, with
01:58some holding signs saying Greenland is not for sale.
02:06Italy approves a new decree to use Albanian migration centers as repatriation hubs.
02:13Under the new decree, two centers in Albania will now also house migrants who arrived in
02:19Italy had their asylum request rejected and received a deportation order.
02:25The Albanian centers have barely been used since opening in October because of legal
02:31issues and strong opposition from human rights groups who say they break international laws
02:36and endanger migrants' rights.
02:40The centers were originally intended for processing non-vulnerable migrants rescued in international
02:46waters.
02:48The project, led by Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni's conservative government, has cost
02:53nearly 800 million euros over a five-year investment.
03:05Russia launched a massive overnight attack on Ukraine, killing at least four people and

03:14Meanwhile, Ukrainian officials have said Russia is preparing to launch a fresh military offensive
03:20in the coming weeks to increase pressure on Ukraine and bolster the Kremlin's position
03:25in ceasefire talks.
03:27The attack on the eastern town of Dnipro killed four people and injured 21 others, causing
03:33a large-scale fire to break out in a restaurant complex, according to authorities.
03:39Ukraine's air force reported that Moscow launched 172 drone attacks, 94 of which were
03:45shot down.

04:06A partial solar eclipse was visible across Europe on Saturday, as well as western Africa,
04:12eastern North America and northern Asia.
04:17In London, spectators watched from the Royal Observatory in Greenwich.
04:22During a partial solar eclipse, the moon passes between the sun and Earth.
04:27The moon casts a shadow on Earth and only partly blocks the sun, making it appear like
04:32a crescent.
04:35Solar and lunar eclipses happen anywhere from four to seven times a year, according to NASA.
