Kahandaang maglingkod at pagsasantabi ng pansariling interes ang ilan sa mga binigyang diin ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos sa harap na matataas na opisyal ng Philippine Army. Siniguro naman ng Defense Department, nananatiling tapat ang sandatahang lakas sa chain of command at sa saligang batas.

01:20That is the only way to rise above adversities and move forward as a people.

01:25According to the President, the Philippine Army must also strengthen its ability to face new challenges.

01:31The true measure is the readiness to put aside one's own interests for a higher goal.

01:40Although we are different in the role we play,

01:44we must build our country to form a more united, more capable, and truly peaceful nation.

01:55The President also agreed to the benefits of the AFP officers and personnel,

01:59such as the increase in their subsistence allowance.

02:02The Philippine Army is ensuring that they are ready to defend the country and protect our sovereignty

02:08from all threats, whether inside or outside the country.

02:12The Defense Department also promised that the armed forces will remain strong in the law.

02:17It has never been unsolid, and I have no reason to doubt that they will remain professional

02:24and they will follow their duty according to the Constitution, and civilian supremacy remains.
