00:00Welcome dear viewers, today we will talk about the importance of time in Bazaar-e-Ulema and the importance of time has increased so much that the time of our segments has become very less.
00:24We will talk about the importance of time in a very short time.
00:28We have with us the globally recognized scholars of Islam of Pakistan, including Mufti Muhammad Sohail Azamzadi, Mufti Hassan Naveed Niazi, Allama Hafiz Ahmed Raza Yusuf.
00:40May Allah accept your services.
00:42We will talk about the importance of time. Without further ado, we will talk about the importance of time in light of the Quran and Hadith.
00:47In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
01:17According to philosophy, time is an additional thing.
01:23According to Newtonian science or Einstein, the interval between events is called time.
01:33It is also said that time is from birth to death.
01:37Modern science refutes this and says that time and space are two sides of the same coin.
01:44In the Holy Quran, time and space are used in the same way.
01:52For example, the time to get down is called Masjid and the time to prostrate is called Sajda.
02:00Some Sufis say that the breath you take is your time.
02:10Some Sufis say that the time you are connected to Allah is your time.
02:22Let's talk about the importance of time.
02:24Science says that there are 25 frames per second.
02:35I say that if there are 25 frames per second, how difficult it would be to calculate it.
02:43Let's talk about the importance of time in the Quran and Hadith.
02:49All the worship, whether it is prayer, is also connected to time.
02:57Zakat is also connected to time.
03:05Hajj is also a specific month.
03:10Hajj is done in the same month and time.
03:14The month of Ramadan is also a specific month.
03:16It comes only once a year.
03:18Fasting in the month of Ramadan is obligatory for everyone.
03:25Those who are wise and not ill are not on the path of Sharia.
03:31Similarly, Imam Ghazali says that make time your slave.
03:40Otherwise, time will make you its slave.
03:44Hazrat Maula Ali says that time is a sword.
03:50Cut it.
03:52Cut it well.
03:54Otherwise, it will cut you.
03:56Make time your slave.
03:58Otherwise, it will make you its slave.
04:00Time is a sword.
04:02Prophet Mohammad said that you will not be free before a few questions.
04:08What is in it?
04:10How did you spend your youth?
04:12How did you spend the moments of time?
04:14Time is the opportunity.
04:16It has been said repeatedly in the Hadith.
04:18What does time mean?
04:20It is your time to spend it in good deeds.
04:22Mufti Hassan Naveed Niazi,
04:24Hazrat Maula Ali said that time is your slave.
04:34You are the slave of time.
04:36Tell me, please shed some light on this.
04:38Is time our slave or we are the slaves of time?
04:40In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
04:42Peace and blessings of Allah be upon His Beloved, Muhammad and his family and companions.
04:44The one who appreciates time, spends it in the good deeds of Allah,
04:51and fulfills the rights of Allah and the rights of His creation,
04:54then time is his slave.
04:56And if someone wastes time,
04:59wastes it in futility,
05:01does not spend time in the good deeds of Allah,
05:04does not spend time,
05:06then he is a slave of time.
05:08And we have seen him crying.
05:10Usually, people who waste their time in futility,
05:14they cry in this world,
05:16and in the hereafter,
05:18it is said that the people of paradise will have no desire
05:23except for the time spent in the world without the remembrance of Allah.
05:27Meaning, there is only one desire in paradise,
05:30that there is a time in the world,
05:32which was spent without the remembrance of Allah.
05:34This is how important time is.
05:36Imam Shafi'i R.A. said,
05:38I took advantage of two things from the companionship of the Sufis.
05:43One of them,
05:45the first thing I took advantage of from the companionship of the Sufis,
05:48which I have learned,
05:49Al-Waqt-u-Saifun,
05:50Fa-In-Qataatahu,
05:51Wa-Illa-Qataak.
05:52Time is a sword,
05:54if you cut it,
05:55it is very good,
05:56otherwise it will cut you.
05:58The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
06:01said,
06:02There are two blessings in which many people have been deceived.
06:11One is health,
06:12and the other is free time.
06:14This free time is about time.
06:16And it is said,
06:17know the reward of five things before five.
06:19In that,
06:20one thing was said,
06:21that before your busy schedule,
06:23know the reward of free time.
06:25The Holy Qur'an has raised the example,
06:27in Surah Al-Sikandar,
06:28it says,
06:30Except those who believe and do righteous deeds,
06:32and strive for the truth,
06:33and strive for patience.
06:35By the oath of time,
06:36what is being said,
06:37all people are in loss,
06:39except those who believe,
06:41do good deeds,
06:42advise on the truth,
06:43and advise on patience,
06:44advise each other,
06:45that is,
06:46value your time.
06:48Those who value time are successful,
06:50those who do not value time,
06:52all people are in loss.
06:54This is what the Qur'an is saying.
06:55Absolutely right,
06:56you said.
06:57Ladies and gentlemen,
06:58we will take a break here.
06:59What is the correct use of time?
07:01And,
07:02what we should do,
07:04the correct use,
07:05in light of the Qur'an and Sunnah,
07:06we will understand.
07:07After the break,
07:08Allama Hafiz Ahmed Raza Yusuf.
07:27Welcome back.
07:38Ladies and gentlemen,
07:39once again,
07:40we have with us,
07:41one of the best Ulema,
07:42our guest today.
07:43We are talking about the importance of time,
07:46and its value.
07:49I had asked Allama Ahmed Raza Yusuf,
07:52what is the correct use of time?
07:54In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.
07:56Allahumma salli wa sallim wa barik alaih.
07:58If you do not listen to the words of time,
08:01time will not give you time to repent.
08:04What is the correct use of time?
08:06And,
08:07the correct use of time is the most important thing.
08:09That is why,
08:10we see that,
08:11in the professional world,
08:13there are regular trainings on time management.
08:16How can people work as much as possible in less time,
08:20and achieve their goals.
08:22But,
08:23the most important thing is,
08:24that you have something to do.
08:26When you do not have anything to do,
08:28how will you use the time?
08:30This is called goal setting.
08:32Now,
08:33goal setting is not setting your goals for life.
08:35No.
08:36You should set your daily routine goals,
08:38what you have to do in a day.
08:40And then,
08:41you should plan for it.
08:42When you do both of these things,
08:44your time will be managed automatically.
08:46You will not need to manage it.
08:48Why is planning important?
08:49Sometimes,
08:50we think that,
08:51when we plan,
08:52it takes time to sit down,
08:53to write,
08:54to think,
08:55to see.
08:56An example of this is,
08:57like a axe,
08:58you have to cut a tree with it.
09:00If the axe is not sharp,
09:02it will take more time to cut the tree.
09:05But,
09:06if you sharpen the axe,
09:07it will be easier to cut the tree.
09:09That is why,
09:10goal setting and planning are very important.
09:13If you do both of these things,
09:14your time will be managed automatically.
09:17Then,
09:18the things that distract you,
09:19especially,
09:20in today's social media,
09:21when you pick up your mobile,
09:23when you see a reel,
09:24then you keep scrolling.
09:26So,
09:27this is a cause of a lot of distraction.
09:28So,
09:29you have to control yourself
09:30on how you can do this.
09:32Another thing can be,
09:33you can also use the right time like this,
09:36that,
09:37the field in which you work,
09:38whatever you do,
09:39in that,
09:40you should definitely consult your elders.
09:42Because,
09:43whatever work you do in an hour,
09:44with their advice,
09:45you can do it in half an hour or 15 minutes.
09:48So,
09:49these are some tips
09:50with which you can use the right time.
09:51Absolutely right.
09:52We have some elders,
09:53who impress people.
09:54Their personality is like this.
09:56For example,
09:57His father is a villager.
09:58I am very impressed with him.
09:59I feel like consulting him.
10:01You have said a very good thing.
10:03Hazrat,
10:04the one who does not value time,
10:05is unsuccessful.
10:06How do you see this?
10:09I say that,
10:11the one who does not value time,
10:14the world does not value him.
10:17Everywhere,
10:18it is the importance of that person,
10:21who knows how to value time.
10:23Absolutely right.
10:24Now,
10:25for example,
10:26you have to go to another country from here.
10:28Right.
10:29And,
10:30you are sitting comfortably.
10:31There are immigration issues,
10:33passport checking issues,
10:34your luggage has to be checked,
10:36everything has to be done.
10:38And,
10:39you are being told,
10:40that you have to reach the airport 2 hours earlier.
10:43You will reach 1 or 1.5 hours earlier.
10:46Then,
10:47you will scream,
10:48that your ticket has been wasted,
10:49your money has been wasted.
10:50No one will listen to you.
10:51There is no benefit.
10:52Absolutely right.
10:53And,
10:54this happens.
10:55It has happened.
10:56In the same way,
10:57regarding the upbringing of children,
10:59when children are small,
11:00they are like wet wood.
11:02You can turn them wherever you want.
11:05You can raise them however you want.
11:07We become aware of upbringing,
11:08when they become teenagers.
11:10They become 15 to 20 years old.
11:12Then,
11:13we become aware.
11:14Imam Ghazali says,
11:15In childhood,
11:16these children,
11:17whether it is a boy or a girl,
11:19they are toys for their parents.
11:21From 7 to 14 to 15 years old,
11:23they are friends of their parents.
11:25And,
11:26after 14 to 15 years old,
11:27they are either slaves,
11:28or enemies.
11:30Allahu Akbar.
11:31Yes.
11:32So,
11:33we become aware,
11:34when they become alone.
11:35Now,
11:36they have to understand you.
11:37Because,
11:38you did not raise them on time.
11:39You did not.
11:40There are some diseases,
11:41that if you do not take medicine on time,
11:43if you do not fast,
11:44then,
11:45time is wasted.
11:46And,
11:47that disease increases,
11:48and we reach near death.
11:50You are absolutely right.
11:51In the same way,
11:52in every matter,
11:53in the matter of giving and taking,
11:54as time passes,
11:55a person keeps regretting.
11:58I say that,
11:59the time that has been given to us in this world,
12:02we should spend it,
12:03in the court of Allah,
12:04and His Messenger,
12:05peace and blessings be upon him.
12:07We should spend it in their deeds.
12:09Because,
12:10after death,
12:11you will say,
12:12Rabbi,
12:13laula akharta nai ila ajalin qareeb
12:15Please,
12:16extend the matter a little bit.
12:17Faa saddaqawakum minas saalihin
12:19I will give charity as well,
12:20and will do good deeds as well.
12:21Allah says,
12:22Uswaqt,
12:23laiyu akhirallahu nafsan
12:25idha ja'a ajaluha
12:26When the time of death will come,
12:28not a moment will be left.
12:31Why,
12:32I have read the Hadiths,
12:33that,
12:34before the time of death,
12:35you should know the benefit.
12:37Why was it said again and again?
12:39Why was it emphasized,
12:40that,
12:41before the time of death,
12:42there will be a question about it.
12:43Why?
12:44Where did you spend your time?
12:46Where did you spend your youth?
12:48How did you spend your wealth?
12:50What did you do?
12:52All these things,
12:53one by one,
12:54will be asked from us.
12:55So, it is better,
12:56that Allah,
12:57and His Messenger,
12:58should spend it according to the commandments.
13:00Wherever we are,
13:01wherever the call of Rabbi comes,
13:03my Prophet,
13:04peace and blessings be upon him,
13:06Ummul Mumineen Sayyidah Ayesha,
13:07says,
13:08that,
13:09we are sitting,
13:10and our conversations,
13:11become as if,
13:12they are strangers to us.
13:13Allahu Akbar,
13:14Allahu Akbar.
13:15There are callers,
13:16join them with us.
13:17Okay,
13:18we are taking a break.
13:19Viewers,
13:20you can call us,
13:21ask questions.
13:22Mufti Muhammad Suhail,
13:23may Allah be pleased with him,
13:24will note your Shariah and Fiqh questions.
13:26And,
13:27in the coming segment,
13:28i.e.
13:29Problems and their solution,
13:30you will get answers in it.
13:31Now,
13:32you can call us during the break,
13:33ask questions.
13:34You can also do it in the next segment.
13:35You will also have a conversation with the scholars.
13:36And,
13:37your live telephone calls,
13:38will also take questions.
13:40Peace be upon you.
14:10Mufti Hassan Naveed Niazi sahab,
14:12there is a good time for everything.
14:14Please tell us something about this.
14:16Yes, there is a fixed time for everything.
14:18In Surah Al-Qamar, Allah the Almighty has said,
14:21All matters are fixed.
14:23Allah has a fixed time for everything.
14:26Meaning, whatever happens,
14:28happens at its fixed time.
14:30It doesn't happen before or after that.
14:33So, we should wait for the right time.
14:35This is a good thing.
14:37Some people are very hasty.
14:39Being hasty is not a good thing.
14:41Allah Jalla Minash Shaitaan
14:43Hastiness is from Satan.
14:45Allah Jalla Tuhubbu Raisa
14:47A lot of hastiness brings with it
14:49shame, regret and regret.
14:51Because of being hasty,
14:53a person wastes his work.
14:55He spoils his affairs.
14:57So, being hasty is not a good thing.
14:59But, it doesn't mean that
15:01a person should sit idle.
15:03A person should not try.
15:05A person should not work hard.
15:07It is important to work hard.
15:09It is important to try.
15:11The world is a world of reasons.
15:13We are commanded to choose our reasons.
15:15My friend, you have to shake
15:17the branch of time.
15:19Nothing happens by saying bad things
15:21to the darkness.
15:23You have to light your own lamp.
15:25It is much better than
15:27the darkness of darkness.
15:29It is better than lighting
15:31your own lamp.
15:33You should work hard.
15:35Hard work is also important.
15:37Smart work is also important.
15:39A lot of people work hard
15:41but their hard work
15:43is not in the right direction.
15:45Their direction is not right.
15:47Their timing is not right.
15:49Because of this, they are not
15:51getting the desired result.
15:53Smart work is more important
15:55than hard work.
15:57We should understand
15:59in which direction
16:01we should work.
16:03We are talking about positive
16:05and negative benefits.
16:07We are not talking about
16:09halal and haram.
16:13When a person has tried
16:15and worked hard and smartly,
16:17and if he is not getting
16:19the desired result,
16:21then his heart should not
16:23tolerate it.
16:25He should pray to Allah.
16:27It is our job to try.
16:29It is Allah's job to make
16:31a person work hard.
16:33It is Allah's job to make
16:35a person work smartly.
16:37It is a time for everything.
16:39Your heart will be at peace.
16:41How do you see the importance
16:43of time for successful people?
16:45In the name of Allah,
16:47I would like to tell you
16:49a short incident.
16:51A person came to
16:53the court of
16:55Khalifa Harun Rashid.
16:57He said that he
16:59threw a needle from
17:01a distance.
17:03He passed the needle
17:05through the hole
17:07on the ground.
17:09He passed 10 needles
17:11like this.
17:13Khalifa Harun Rashid
17:15and the whole court
17:17were surprised.
17:19Khalifa said that
17:21he should be given 10 dirhams
17:23as a reward.
17:25People were surprised.
17:27Yes, 10 dirhams
17:29because he did a great job.
17:31But 10 needles
17:33because he wasted
17:35his time.
17:37Time should be
17:39used for productive work.
17:41For example,
17:43in the modern world,
17:45there is a sector
17:47called gaming industry.
17:49It is a sector where
17:51neither God's creation nor
17:53the hereafter has any benefit.
17:55How did people use time?
17:57By using it for productive work.
17:59We should also use time for productive work.
18:01Very good, Hafiz.
18:03Please include the caller.
18:05Assalamu Alaikum.
18:07What is your question?
18:09My question is
18:11according to me,
18:13the dangerous acts we do,
18:15we can give that dangerous act
18:17to a relative or
18:19a person who is helpless.
18:21Even though
18:23he is rich,
18:25but he is helpless.
18:27You are rich?
18:29No, what are you saying?
18:31I don't understand.
18:33His brother or his parents
18:35are rich but they are helpless.
18:37His brother and parents are rich
18:39but they are helpless.
18:41And they deserve it.
18:43Is this what you are saying?
18:45Yes.
18:47Alright.
18:49We will tell you.
18:51To the point,
18:53say something on today's topic.
18:55A man got a chance
18:57to go to a gold mine
18:59and told him that there is one day
19:01he can fill as much gold as he can.
19:03And there is time till tomorrow.
19:05He went and saw.
19:07He said, I will rest.
19:09I will wake up 1-2 hours before tomorrow.
19:11He kept sleeping.
19:13In the end, he was taken out.
19:15The time is over.
19:17What we are doing here,
19:19is the farming of the hereafter.
19:21So don't waste even the smallest
19:23good deed here.
19:25Save that good deed.
19:27Keep choosing flowers.
19:29All these flowers will be useful
19:31after you die.
19:33Where is the time?
19:35The work is yet to be done.
19:37The whole of Tauheed is yet to be done.
19:39Mashallah.
19:41As I said,
19:43I am moving towards
19:45the call to prayer.
19:47In the beautiful voice of Mufti Zabar Qasimi,
19:49we will offer our prayers.
19:51You can call us during this time.
19:53You can ask your questions.
19:55Mufti Sahib will receive them.
19:57He will write them and answer them.
19:59As I said,
20:01complaining about the darkness of the night
20:03is far better than
20:05lighting a candle
20:07for your share.
20:09May peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.
20:17May peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.
