00:00Let's start in the West region, Missouri out of the SEC in
00:03unreal turnaround this year, led by Dennis Gates, they went
00:06winless. Oh, for of 19 games in the SEC last year, now a six
00:12seed in the big dance, but they take on a team in Drake, where
00:16Ben McCollum did not skip a beat continuing the winning ways for
00:19this team out of Des Moines, third consecutive NCAA
00:23tournament as the champions out of the MVC that being the
00:27Missouri Valley Conference, DRS, a lot of people, including
00:30myself, very high on this Drake team, believing Drake cannot
00:34only win this game, but maybe begin a Cinderella run as an
00:3811 seed to the second weekend of the NCAA tournament, but so
00:42much so that everybody is betting Drake as a six and a
00:46half point underdog today against Mizzou with a low total
00:49at 132 and a half. Are you buying into the Bulldogs or do
00:54you think there might be a little bit too much public
00:56attention? Again, they're really good, but it is public
00:59attention like the six and a half point number like yes, you
01:02can thread the needle and say, well, I think Drake can probably
01:05cover the spread. I don't know if they can win and cover that.
01:07I get it, but yeah, you're not getting double digits like
01:09you're in that foul mayhem of the final minute and a half.
01:12That's probably going to be at your leisure. You need to
01:14actually think Drake can come in here and pull this upset and
01:17win it outright in order to bet them at the six and a half
01:19points, but I see those totals and I say 132 and a half. We
01:22know how slow Drake is, but the efficiency on offense on both
01:25sides like Missouri's top five in the country. You see Drake
01:29and the things that Drake likes to do like Missouri's defense
01:31doesn't rebound all that well. Drake does Drake loves to get
01:34to the free throw line. Missouri will foul just flip
01:36it over to the other side. Drake will foul Missouri loves
01:38the free throw line. These two teams shoot at a high level
01:41from three point range. They're going to get to the free throw
01:43line. You know the turnovers here. Let's say Missouri turns
01:46over Drake and get some easy baskets and if Missouri is the
01:49team leading and being efficient, Drake's have to up
01:51the tempo a bit and get their shot selection improving. So
01:54one of the first times I'm taking a look at a game and
01:55saying I do think Missouri wins and rightfully so they're
01:58favored by six and a half, but at the same time, I look at
02:00that 132 and a half. I think that's light here. I don't
02:02think there's any reason to believe that one of these teams
02:04can approach 70 points to push you over that number based on
02:07what the spread is two good offenses and they fit pretty
02:10much like a glove here on what they want to do.
