00:004-13 in the Midwest region. Purdue, last year's national runner-up and the fourth seed in the
00:05Midwest against the 13th seed in high point into the big dance for the first time in program
00:11history has been a D1 school for about two and a half decades. The champions of the big self and a
00:17team that metrically when you look at teams around this mid-major level as elite offensively as you
00:24will find 25th most efficient offense in college basketball. It is a reason that high point opened
00:31as a nine and a half point dog now they're only getting seven and a half. Do you agree with where
00:36that market movement stands for this round of 64 game in Providence? Again it's hard like when you
00:41step out of your element like you say man they're really a you know they're efficient offense and
00:46then you say well Purdue's seventh in efficiency in the country going against NBA players on a
00:51day-to-day basis. High points going against you know hey guys that are going to go into their
00:55second career at Enterprise Rent-A-Car as we like to say. So how does that efficiency actually hold
00:59up at this point is what it's hard to quantify. But for me I've always in the tournament these
01:04are good basketball teams that make it in. I love to lean towards the points. Yes Purdue's the better
01:08team but if we're just looking at like statistics hey high points should be able to do whatever they
01:12want theoretically on offense but when everybody on the opposite side is bigger faster and stronger
01:17than what you play how does that efficiency actually check out. So am I saying I'm gonna fade
01:22high point in this spot not necessarily and as I told you I do like to take the points but as a
01:27handicapper myself it's puzzling to me because I honestly Ben I don't know how high point like hey
01:32look they're 25th best offense in the country they're up and down the court they look fantastic
01:36like yeah the numbers make sense but again when you're playing teams that aren't very good and
01:41now going to play one of the best teams in the country how does that hold up and we're not
01:45talking about 18 and a half points like we're expecting high point to be in this game from tip
01:50all the way through now Purdue does have a tournament blemish or two on their roster
01:55against teams that they technically shouldn't have lost to but you can't play that way like
01:59oh this team what does this team have oh well their coach or whatever no no different players
02:02different times get after it.
