00:00Players has not suited Ernie L's eye over the years his tee shot at 14 now
00:08he's played it out to the left a little bit see if that'll kick right and it
00:12does that's beautiful holy mackerel another great shot for Ernie on a par
00:17three at 12 he really hit a good one. Earlier today there are four World Golf
00:21Hall of Famers in the field this week including Ratif Goosen rolls in this
00:26birdie putt at seven and that would get him to four under par. This is over at
00:3111 Padraig. The senior tours version of Bryson don't you think really fitness
00:37fitness maniac kind of blending the math and the science with the you know
00:44the brute all with the deft touch. Over at 18 Ricardo Gonzalez trying to finish
00:51his day up with a birdie gets him to red figures and there you go
00:56Ricardo. He'll take under par day one. Hopefully Ratif will miss the cactus
01:07yeah no problem. He'll send it straight up in the air too all right on line good
01:15shot. Yes it is.
01:29Hey. Got it. Ernie Els has the flagstick out playing his third. He wants to make
01:41it. So bad. Perfect speed. Oh how about that that's the unexpected pleasure you
02:00know he's just kind of hung in there and hung in there and all of a sudden eagle
02:04birdie just like that. Rolls in his birdie putt at the 7th.
02:10Ernesto would get to six under par with this long-range birdie. Best fringe
02:16putter in the sport. Now Fujita for his par. Bernard Langer shooting his age yet
02:24again right 68 year old shooting another 66 and how about that
02:29well he had no chance from the sand to get it anywhere near the hole. Yeah just
02:36has to land it just on the green then just let the slope do its thing. Looks
02:41like it's not going to get there but I promise you this has got plenty of speed
02:45really well done. How about it? Oh my goodness. Well I mentioned the Kentanagawa
02:56with the lone eagle and this was a moment ago this is what it looked like
02:59to get to eight under and right in the mix. Yeah that gets him definitely in the
03:05mix. It'll make you very agitated. Ted Purdy second into 18. Dancing around the
03:19hole. An absolute green light special right here 105 yards straight downwind
03:26here for Greg. Perfect little tee shot. It's a little deep. Spins it back. Took a
03:36chance trying to get it all the way back there and paid off. Could not afford to
03:41hit a bad drive there. Over at 18 this is the second shot for Justin Leonard. It's
03:46been a tough week for Justin but that's a wonderful shot in there. Justin got his
03:52first win at the Chubb Classic. Let's go over to 17. R3
03:59Hiroyuki Fujita. What about that now? Fujita with an ace at 17. 12th ace in
04:16Kohleggard Classic history. Take you over to 11. This is the third shot for
04:23Padraic Harrington at the par 5. And in for eagle and Harrington is back in the
04:32mix. Hiroyuki Fujita after that ace at 17 to finish with a birdie at 18 and he
04:41gets it. What a finish for Fujita. Oh that's a cha-ching special for him.
05:00Oh wow another shot. Another one stiff for Ernie Els. He's been doing that all
05:05day long. This is the third for Harrington at 13. Drove it in trouble so
05:12again we kind of talked you through the stretch of holes here and wow. Scott
05:18McCarron's play has gotten better here over the last couple weeks as this putt
05:23for birdie here at 18 and drops it in. Finishes with a one over 71. Here now
05:34Jason Caron. Birdies at 16 and 17. His second in the 18 and a share of the lead.
05:40That's a great looking golf swing. Is it a great result? It is. Oh my goodness. Look
05:46at that shot. That might be your winner. Jason Caron formality here. Rolls in the
05:53putt for birdie. So Jason Caron has posted 12 under. What a score. What a
05:59player. His tee shot at the par 3 comes up a little bit short. Going with putter
06:05from just off the front of the green. And how about that? Stephen Alker drains it.
06:12That's three in a row for Alker and he's in at 12 under with a hole to play.
06:19Stephen Alker is in a share of the lead. Can he birdie 18 and post 13 under?
06:29He hit a beauty. I tell you he is in complete control of his distance. Stephen
06:35Alker for birdie at 18 to post 13 under. This for his fourth in a row.
06:45But if Alker knocks this in he'll join Caron in the clubhouse at 11 under, at 12
06:55under. Back at the Coligard Classic. Jason Caron, Stephen Alker ready for the
07:02playoff. Ball slightly below his feet. Got some extra advice from veteran tour
07:07caddie Derek Sanders is also a good player. Good strike, little right of flag.
07:12Yeah, beautiful distance control. That's the one thing we saw from the guys
07:18trying to win that didn't get in this playoff. A little bit off of some of his
07:22clubs and not overspin it. And it may cost him a little bit last year. A little
07:29right of the flag as well. Yeah, two good shots. One a little better than the other,
07:38but I've always felt like first in wins. So some right to left in it. It does go
07:45up against the mountain so he can get it way out there to the right and let it
07:48get on down that slope. That was left all the way. We had a good angle on it.
07:56Stephen Alker. It would be a surprise if this goes in. Stephen Alker on the first
08:01playoff hole has this putt for birdie to win the Coligard Classic.
08:08There you have it, Stephen Alker.
08:19Start of the day, four shots back. Shoots 66 in the final round and birdies the
08:27first hole of the playoff to defeat Jason Caron and win for the ninth time
08:33on the PGA Tour champions. And the reigning Schwab Cup champion had perfect
08:38pace. And it just, oh does that feel good. One more look at it again. Remember he
08:50had a makeable birdie putt on the 54th hole of the post 13-under. It didn't drop, but
08:55look at this. Perfect speed right in off that right side. And Stephen Alker, the
09:02reigning Schwab Cup champion, has done it again. Win number nine.
