00:00Two of the biggest names in business are teaming up. General Motors and NVIDIA have announced
00:04a partnership that will allow GM to use artificial intelligence chips and software in its vehicles.
00:10The carmaker will also use the technology to improve workflow in its factories. Of the
00:14deal, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said in a statement, the era of physical AI is here, and together
00:20with GM, we're transforming transportation, from vehicles to the factories where they're
00:24made. We are thrilled to partner with GM to build AI systems tailored to their vision,
00:28craft, and know-how. General Motors declined to reveal how much the new deal would cost.
00:34This isn't the first partnership NVIDIA has made with a carmaker. Toyota and Hyundai both
00:38enlisted NVIDIA to help improve their autonomous driving capabilities. China's BYD, Germany's
00:43Mercedes-Benz, and U.S.-based Rivian also have deals with NVIDIA. That'll do it for
