00:00Starting next week, the operating hours of the Metro Rail Transit, or MRT, will be extended with train services running later into the night, as directed by the Department of Transportation, or DOTR.
00:13Currently, the last train departs from North Avenue at 9.30 p.m., but the new schedule will provide more convenience for commuters, especially during the evening.
00:23Likewise, the MRT-3 plans to increase the number of trains during peak hours to reduce waiting time and improve the overall travel experience, particularly during rush hour.
