00:12with the assistance of Dr. Robert Floyd,

00:16the Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization.

00:21Here, President Marcos emphasized that there is no winner in the nuclear war.

00:26Therefore, it is important to maintain peace and security around the world

00:31by avoiding the use of nuclear weapons.

00:36He also emphasized the commitment of the country

00:39in implementing the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty

00:42so that the country can be safe.

00:44It will continue to be a part of the initiative to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons.

00:51The President also added that it is important to maintain a safe world

00:56for all by promoting the peace and cooperation of the countries.

01:01The Philippines is one of the countries that firmly supports the CTBT

01:07which is a long-standing ban on the use of nuclear weapons

01:12to prevent their spread and to maintain the security of the community.
