With the UK needing 11 million graduates by 2035 to meet workforce demands, we ask locals about their experiences with the current job market. Are they looking for new jobs, and what would their ideal role be?

00:00My experience is very much it's difficult to recruit typically for what
00:05we're looking for so where I were either people haven't got the required skills
00:10or don't necessarily want to work in the job that I do.
00:14Bigger side on that, I can't find a job anywhere I've applied to over 60 jobs and it's not even my
00:20work ethic because I want to work they just won't take me because I have no
00:25experience. A lot of places require experience but you can't go and get
00:29experience because everyone else is looking for people with experience.
00:33So the job market is it's a fickle thing isn't it at the end of the day. You hear the
00:39government say something like oh look right we need you to work longer as in
00:44like past 65 and XYZ but then they start talking about immigration and saying
00:50that they haven't got the people to come and get that do the jobs you know stop
00:53the boats and all that kind of stuff. I think they should think things out a bit
00:59better.
