00:00All right. So, uh, it is not in shambles at all, like, like, I know people are comparing
00:06the Yankees and Mets rotation. I don't see it that way at all. Like, Max Fried is a star.
00:12Carlos Rodon is going to start opening day, right? Did I get that right? Did he announce
00:16that? Okay. Just making sure, uh, you know, look, Stroman is a backend guy, but if they
00:21move them to three or four, no issue. He's going to pitch 150 innings. His ZRA is going
00:26to be around three and a half or four. You take that Clark Schmidt, you would assume
00:30will be a Clark Schmidt season. And then we'll war. It'll be somewhat of a question mark
00:33and they'll get those pictures, uh, back. We'll get Louie Hill back. Hypothetically
00:38in July, you know, the Yankees will always be in the mix, but you know, naturally George,
00:42what happens is when a player gets hurt, the fan base immediately clamors for everybody
00:47else's players. We already got the word from Brian Cashman. He made it pretty clear, at
00:52least for now, they're going to roll with what they got. George, I hate to say it.
00:56If you're a Yankees fan, it is the right move. You never want to be in a desperate situation
01:01where everybody knows that you need somebody. This isn't like losing five starters in a
01:06rotation. It's one Garrett Cole did not pitch on the Yankees for months last season. No
01:12one wants to hear it the right way to go about it. Maybe somebody else steps up and it works
01:17out. Who had Louie Hill doing what he did last year? People forget that so quickly.
01:22So what will it mean through the first 80 games? Will the Yankees only be, uh, you know,
01:27or 85 games? Will they only be 45 and 40? Yes, that's possible, but can't overreact
01:32to this. I got to see how this plays out. If I am Cashman before I do anything else.
01:39And that's what he's going to do here. Uh, keep in mind, Steinberg is not taking on any
01:42more money. All right. So he can't bring on anybody anyway, you know, without getting
01:46rid of a contract goes to the Yankees or what they're at the 110% mark of the, uh,
01:50of the tax here. So if they brought in a $10 million contract, of course the Yankees 21.
01:54So it's Steinbrenner. He's not George. He's not George Steinbrenner. It was all winning
01:58and I don't care about money. Hal cares about money. All right. So they're not bringing
02:03on any more money there. So he's going to have to deal with that. Uh, everything you
02:06said about the Yankees is true. You're way off on Stroman, by the way, he's horrific.
02:10Uh, but that's what it is with the Yankees three and a half, four year. If he has that,
02:14my God, the Yankees will roll. Well, he didn't have it last year. He was terrible. Remember
02:20the Yankees couldn't give him away. They benched him. He was terrible. Uh, Stroman will be
02:25fine for the first half of the season. And then he dies. He gets tired. And that's it
02:28here. The Yankees biggest problem is there's nobody else after they're five, six guys,
02:34the depth is gone. And that's the Yankees problem. You know, when someone has more injuries,
02:39the Yankees don't have that Carrasco. You don't know that you didn't, you didn't even
02:43know who Louie heel was this time last year. Stop. Oh, I didn't know who Louie Hill was
02:47by the way. A big fan of his actually. Uh, I think it's probably, he was nothing organization.
02:52He was nothing going into the year. And he ended up being one of the best pitchers in
02:56the American league in the first half. Give it time. Something could happen. Don't be
02:59so negative, George. It ain't over.
