01:07De la Rosa has stayed out of the public eye since rumors about an ICC warrant for Duterte
01:11came up on Saturday, March 8.
01:13When asked, de la Rosa said in a phone interview that he was still in the Philippines campaigning
01:18in the mountains of Surigao and Agusan.
01:20He also says he turned off his cell phone, which is why the media couldn't reach him,
01:24adding that he was focused on the SC petition.
01:27As Duterte's former police chief, de la Rosa had been the chief implementer of the
01:30deadly drug war.
01:31ICC Assistant to Counsel Cristina Conti says arrest warrants for de la Rosa and retired
01:36police chief Oscar Albayalde may be issued soon.
01:42Former President Rodrigo Duterte arrived in the Netherlands late Tuesday, March 12, where
01:46he was processed for transfer to the International Criminal Court.
01:50Duterte landed in Rotterdam at 11.53 in the evening Manila time.
01:54Shortly after landing, he was officially taken into custody by the ICC.
02:00Duterte's supporters waited outside the detention facility in Cheveningen, shouting,
02:04''Send him back!''
02:06Vehicles took Duterte into the prison complex at around 6.33 GMT or 2.33 AM Manila time.
02:12The ICC warrant charges Duterte with, quote, ''instructing and supporting the city and
02:17nationwide extrajudicial killings of alleged criminals.''
02:20ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan says, ''Many say that international law is not as strong as
02:26we want, and I agree with that, but as I also repeatedly emphasize, international law is
02:32not as weak as some may think.''
02:36Duterte is expected to stay in the well-equipped ICC detention center located on the coast
02:41of The Hague.
02:44Drug War widow Jane Lee, who spent years campaigning for justice, says she couldn't
02:48fully celebrate when she heard of Rodrigo Duterte's arrest.
02:51Her husband Michael was killed in the drug war in 2017.
02:54Although pleased that his case is now closer to justice, he says it still won't bring
02:58Michael back.
02:59Dalia Cuartero, whose son Daboy was killed in a police bybust in Bulacan in 2019, said

04:48National University Star Guard Kian Baklaan lost followers after their pro-Duterte posts

04:57Different brands poked fun at Senator Bongo's pizza delivery attempt at the Villamor Air
05:01Base, where former President Rodrigo Duterte was taken into custody.
05:05This after Goh was filmed at the gate holding a box of S&R pizza.
05:09He was recorded trying to convince the officers to let him in so he could give the pizza to
05:13Duterte and his family members with him inside.
05:16After video clips and photos went viral, Domino's Pizza posted a photo of their boxes
05:21because some social media users confused Goh's delivery for Domino's.
05:25They captioned their post, ''These are Domino's pizza boxes'' with a winking emoji.
05:30Pizza Hut joined in by reposting a meme from a gaming content creator in which she holds
05:34a Pizza Hut box in front of a house gate.
05:37Meantime, Boracay's The Sunny Side Cafe announced a pizza promo because they, quote,
05:41''woke up in such a good mood''.
05:43Shopee also shared a special voucher the morning after Duterte's chartered plane left Manila
05:48for The Hague.
05:49However, the post has since been deleted.
