03:43Another Filipino hero is Melchora Aquino,

03:46better known as Tandang Sora.

03:49Despite her age,

03:51she became the mother of the revolution

03:53and fought for her life

03:55to help the revolutionaries.

03:59Also among the Filipino women,

04:02is Teresa Magbanwa.

04:04Known as the Visayan Joan of Arc,

04:07she was a teacher who became the general of the revolution

04:11and fought against the Spanish and Americans.

04:14Trinidad Texon,

04:16the mother of Biak na Bato.

04:19She was a revolutionary who fought under the Catipunan

04:23and became known for her courage and service to the wounded soldiers.

04:28Aguida Cajabagan,

04:30known as the only female general in the Catipunan,

04:34she fought against the Spanish and Americans in Laguna.

04:38To this day,

04:40Filipinos continue to make history.

04:43In the world of sports,

04:45Heidelin Diaz is the first Filipino

04:48to win a gold medal at the Olympics.

04:52We have also seen women succeed in many fields,

04:56including the professions dominated by men.

05:04who despite their lack of sacrifice,

05:11give a strong foundation to each family.
